  1. I would add that the above post by Wizard is for the 1JZ. Still no Sticky??
  2. I thought that but they don't look the same to me..... the Rewind's
  3. Hate to dig up an old thread but what rims are these?
  4. I thought this was reserved only for Louisiana based schools...........
  5. I was just giving flack...... I have read your build thread great work! Just read the first post and expected too much I guess.......
  6. All this talking and no progress pics? Hope to see some soon. I will be getting a turbo parts car for my '71.
  7. No check the Wiki's out. The B210 and Skyline..... i guess what you see the same is the rear roof line. The closest Datsun to the skyline in the US is the 810 (actually a direct relative) but it has square head lights. If you are going to all the trouble just get a 620 grill and make it fit.
  8. We ALL agreed to the rules....... Some times we need a refresher to what was agreed too, click here. No one is perfect and we don't expect it. I have looked Tiger Japanese over and have not seen a bad reputation. I would try and deal more local to where you live in case there is a problem.
  9. It also weighed 3300+lbs!!! You have to take that into account. You are sitting at what around 25XXlbs and some change.
  10. I like the idea of using what you have but I too agree that it would heat the gas to the coolant temp. You could use it for an external oil cooler though.... if you wanted to put it to good use.
  11. Sweet plans. Hope to see a finished product. I had a few thoughts, It would be worth it to get some high compression pistons and a thin head gasket to get the best power out of the set up with the header.
  12. Um WOW there are rules to "bumps"...... If you are doing a turbo swap just get the whole ZX then you can use the B.W. 5 speed. Check out the drive train section it will have what you need.
  13. This will decimate all after you put about 10k in parts and overnight from japan...... LOL sorry i couldn't help my self I know its played out......... It sounds like you are getting in WAY over your head! You need to give this guy a SOLID time line or he is going to FREAK!! He seems like the type that wants it done NOW. Give him a dead line for parts and what he want done, write out a day by day chart (give PLENTY of time) and give him a set cost. That way you are covered when it takes 15 months to get this done....... Have fun!
  14. That is why RPM would NOT be a set variable. I think that my list would prove to be a great way to compare two setups.
  15. Less to swap (ECU, harness ect...) If it (L26) ran good just do a little tuning on your carb L28 and your good to go! The exhaust ports are usually square (P90 excluded and some N47) if your header has square ports and your head matches just get a new gasket and don't worry about the EFI for now just get it running. If you want to swap that in later it wont be too hard. Here is a thread about the heads. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=129066 Good luck.
  16. +1 to that! Sorry can't help. Can you just use the key to lock it??
  17. Yes they all bolt up and the head is what determines the intake and exhaust not the block. Just keep it carbs and add the headers and that will make a BIG difference! Enjoy!
  18. Here you go! http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=148739 Its under the body kits and paint section.
  19. +1 for wizard taking that in the best way any one could!
  20. Wow I am very humbled, I had my usual "search" hat on but I can give some respect to people with ESL...... but at least spell check it. Great find! that looks like a GREAT car to build. Heck I say GO 2JZ!!! Kuwait= low rust!
  21. WOW amazing work. I love the flares on both the black and the yellow/white they look almost the same but the black seems to have a more flat outer edge.
  22. Check the block, if its the L24 it will be etched on the side near the fire wall as stated.
