  1. All I know is MSA ( motorsport auto ) http://www.zcarparts.com/store/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=BSC That is the link for there aero and body stuff.
  2. That is just awesome work. Nicest I've seen pics of. How much??
  3. jtr mounts and radiator. Looks awesome and was easy to install. I still have my 6 though. But am preparing for the 8. He has new mounts and radiator so contact him. I can post pics if you want.
  4. Again Owen Thanks, It was a real pleasure to look through those pics you linked to me. THose door panels are preaty cool. All fiberglass I take it. So you just used the original masonite backing to your door panel and sculpted over it. I was thinking of something like that. Glad to see it work well. Thanks again, Kyle
  5. Thanks Owen. I don't have the money right know anyway. I have been thinking of what I want to do and gathering all the info for when I get around to it. So, quick question, what does the door panel look like now since you are done? And I'd love to see interior pics in general. I bet your car is just awesome. Just to let anyone knwo if they are interested. This is the website for VPA: http://www.auto-accessories.com/ They have cool stuff and cheeper then summit. Thanks again, Kyle
  6. Thanks for the info. THey were ebay seats that ended up selling for 80 bucks. They were brand new from an 98 and had been stored. Shipping was another 80 dollars though. I couldn't justify the expense right now even though they were cheep. I don't have any pictures though sorry. THanks again. They did look nice so I will keep my eye out for some in the future when I have some extra cash.
  7. Owen, I saw on your website about putting in power windows and door locks. You said you got them from Summit Racing but what were the item numbers? They have a ton of stuff and I can't seem to find the right ones. Thanks your car looks great!!
  8. Hi ya. Someone just posted that link to a question that I had a week ago. http://hybridz.org/nuke/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=33720&highlight= This is the link. I hope it works, I have never posted a link before. If not it is in the exhaust forum and look for posts by me. Good luck,
  9. That is the coolest thing I have ever seen. It's a moble home / house boat. Doesn't look like a boat at all. You'd really freak people out at a marina by driving that thing in the water.
  10. sweet car and cool construction video. You certainly have done a ton of work. Great job,
  11. Hi all. I read that prelude seats fit in a 78z but does anyone know the years that will fit? I found some new preluse seats and am thinking about it. Thanks, Kyle
  12. The kits are now being offered for 100$. I was looking at the Tercel type mirrors cause Pete who posted his how to do it on his website used them. His were the stock mirrors though. I just thought they looked cool and would fit. I might just get the msa ones though. Thanks
  13. here are some tercel mirrors found on ebay. I think they look pretty cool and not to ricey. What do you all think?
  14. I checked out superperformance's website and that Daytona Coupe is just AWESOME!!! What does that thing cost anyway? I want one. Probably the nicest car I have seen except for the Z.
  15. O.k. so I readup on Zero-Rust and have a few questions. It says that it cures in 2 weeks time. So does that mean no sanding or driving the car until then. Too bad por15 doesn't come in a spray can. Anyway the product does seem good. Thanks again for the continued info.
  16. Thanks again. Just a few more questions. When doing baody work what do you all use as a reveal coat of paint when sanding and contouring? I most likely will not be going down to bare metal but it can happen. Por-15 is what I think I might use if that happens and then prime over it to uv seal it. I have lots of little dings and such I want to fix. Plus I will be left with holes after I change my sise view mirror to the flush one msa now sells again. Does POR-15 sound ok? At least I can brush it on. Thanks, Kyle

  18. Deffinately in. I'd gladly spend 50 buck for something that worthwhile
  19. Awesome input. Thanks all. I guess there is a way I can use two part epoxy primer. It would mean running a really long extension cord and using a not so big compressor. But for small areas it could work. What are the two part epoxies that people recomend for priming? I've done lots of painting before just not on cars (hvlp and bottom feed) Does anyone recomend a good book? Thanks again, the rustoleum sound interseting though, Kyle
  20. So what do you guys recomend if you were to do things bit by bit and didn't have a place to professionaly spray? Do I just wait the next few years untill I have a house and can do it right? There must be an answer. Something in the middle aye? What is the purpose of rattle can primer then? I do unserstand what you are saying I jsut didn't like the answer. I don't mind waithing though. THanks all, Kyle
  21. Dan those are SWEET! what car did they come off of?
  22. Hi guys, So I want to start some work on the car and that will intail sanding and priming. I will be years away from a quality paint job. My question is, what kind of rattle can primer is the best to use as I work? I will want grey in color and will be doing things slowly. This is my daily driver and my car gets a lot of dew on it in the morning. Are rattle can primers good enough to seal out moisture? Thanks all again, Kyle
  23. Thanks guys. All the posts helped a lot and again I am thankful for all the great knowledge you all possess. Blue oval's car kicks butt too. As for the article on aerodynamics it has made me look at all cars differently now. Really is amazing how much crap there is not flush on a Z. My wifes Corrolla is more aerodynamic than my Z. Doesn't look as good mind you but way smoother. Has anyone made a belly pan for there car yet? If so what does it look like? The gaurd under the radiator, is it bad that that is removed? Anyway thanks again, Kyle
