  1. Man I tried, I emailed them back in the beginning of december 09... still no reply.
  2. The one I need is above the mustach bar on the right.
  3. Opps ment to say 3.04 pressure ratio...
  4. What about the "kameari race head" that zccjdm.com sells? Is it better than an extreme port job? Also one issue not addressed or maybe i skipped over... Piston Size? Crank stroke? Displacement? Or is more of the power in the heads and the bottum end doesnt matter? Also,... Have any tried to turbocharge their 400hp n/a l6
  5. I have it... Ive tried to jailbreak it a few times but the quality isnt as good as the original...
  6. So the guy who paypaled him the most money "won" the raffle? Haha what a raw deal....
  7. Totally agree! I was thinking the same thing just didnt say anything.. I think it should be a alot smaller lip. Perhaps make a "subtle" version of the spoiler. Kinda like this one for the 350z
  8. Heres what i posted last topic this was brought up in...
  9. I have accually thought about it but i think its too much trouble imo.
  10. The supra guys that like the lower gears are usually just interested in drifting. If your putting down any kind of power it is next to impossible to get traction with a low gear (3.9, 4.11, 4.38) You want traction and full boost go for with a high gear.
  11. Remember the L6 is no v8. Building max boost will allow it a better 1/4 mile time.
  12. I started reading on turbonetics website and THEY state that 50lbs/min flow = 500 hp. It appears with a l28et if this is true that it would require alot of efficient boost to push alot of horsepower. If the t61 is able to push an efficient 30 psi... and flows 53 lbs/min at 6500 rpm's WHILE passing through the efficiency zone.. This means the t61 could push the l28et to 500+rwhp with NO problems of surging... How much to anti-surge compressor housing expand compressor maps? I have a feeling the t61 is very similar to the t67 as far as compressor maps, but we may be pushing the surge limit...
  13. I retract my previous comments! Very interesting. I cant seem to find a t67 compressor map. When I search garrett t61 all the comes up is t3/t61 or t4/t61. The t3/t61 is rated at 520 rwhp The t4/t61 is rated at 590 rwhp I started studying the t61 compressor map... It appears you can run 30 psi of boost and cut through the top of the efficiency zone... Maybe a good power potential? I need to find a t67 compressor map to compare! For those wondering 30 psi is 3.04 bar and the l28et flows say 27 lbs/min at 3250 rpms and 53 lbs/min at 6500. (is if you wanted to map it out on a t61 compressor map and see for yourself)
  14. High gearing(3.15, 3.36, 3.54) is better for the l28et as 1st and 2nd gear wont go by so fast and your able to build full boost...
  15. Also another thing... I ported my tb opening all the way through. I didnt taper the port or anything. I dont know why people complained about going through the intake... After completely porting the tb opening, it DID NOT go through and there was still plenty of metal left... So you can just port it straight through with no problems... One of the main reasons I ported it straight through is so the air doesnt bottleneck... it stays a 2.5"(60mm) opening all the way through the throttle body to the intake..
  16. Yes it does. "Bolt on" I guess you could say. No modifications necessary. The tb spacer is only required if you are going with the stock shaft linkage.. I just mount my tb directly to the intake as I am going with cable linkage... But as I was saying there is a small slit that the ka24 throttle body doesnt cover up...
  17. I plan on running alot of boost so i made sure that it was covered... I would take pictures of what I did but the intake a tb are on the car currently... I was told by my high performance teacher at auto tech that it needed to be welded. Maybe my gap was bigger than you guys' but I just used a regular felbro ka24 throttle body gasket and it did not cover up the hole. Its really not that hard, I had a friend that knew how to aluminum weld, weld it up alittle for me and then I took a file and filed it flush... Its just "insurance" for me I guess you could say, I like to do things very thorough... And yes yes I did have another name change... the new forum software couldnt read my old screename...
  18. Repost... I posted this a few years ago on my old account...
  19. Insince everyone loves pictures... ill leave this here...
  20. You guys' problem might be that there is a leak. If you bolt the throttle body directly to the intake there is a small leak where the throttle body meets the intake. I had to aluminum weld and smooth of the part that comes up for the cold start injector as there was a small slit.
