  1. You sir have a sick looking setup there. I'm not a fan of stretch but those wheels. Man.
  2. That dash looks amazing, is the price for that listed on the website? Wow the possibilities, gauge mounting made easy, switch panel is already there where the controls used to be. I love the way that thing looks.
  3. I had 3 L28's, they were all blown but I just scrapped them. I wouldn't pay over 250 for a non turbo one myself, that is in good visibly running condition.
  4. They are expensive because of the curve, that is why I've got an extra one in my closet! =D I'd offer it up, but I might need it some day.
  5. Phil, I hate to say it, but I think Ebay is the only fair way to go. I don't think it is fair for you to find out who was first dibs.
  6. The only problem with Ebay is the fee's, but I totally understand me. I'm a pain in the ass myself, but I try to be pretty straight forward about things. People expect to much out of buying used parts honestly. You've got quite a bit of money, seeing the forged parts, ported head, that intake. I'd assume the meth is going on the RB, but maybe not because you really probably don't need it like you do with the L28.
  7. Oh, I've talked to him a bit of Facebook. He told me he was going to kinda get a list together of what he is selling sometime soon.
  8. I had a similar setup, but I wasn't lowered at all and no rolled fenders. Rubbed just a little on some larger bumps.
  9. I'll let you in on a little secret. McKinney Motorsports and Phil here have been doing some business. =D
  10. It is defiantly a Saiga, I looked at google images. I'm a gun noob so I didn't even think Saiga.
  11. Second from the bottom there, is that an AK?
  12. I think I understand why everybody never finishes their S30's, we are all busy with guns.
  13. I am new to the rifle game, and I am only 19 years old, I have fired an SKS, Norinco Chinese version that my boss owns. I haven't fired an AK or an AR15 yet, I need to shoot my bosses AR though. I did recently see that there will be US made AK47's available on the market soon though. Although at the stock of an AR15 I would rather have the AR15. I like the idea of a larger round, but at what cost does the larger round come? The reason I was planning on pickup up an SKS is the price of the gun, the higher accuracy over the AK47 because I can pick up a stamped AK47 for $300-$400 at the local gun store. I was looking to get either a Russian or a Yugo machined version, I had to pass one up because I didn't have the money a month back, the prices are high because guns are quickly becoming more and more popular. I'm sure if you graphed prices of an SKS in just the past 5 years you would see a huge price spike. Knowing I could have gotten one for $100-$150 5 years ago and now I struggle to find a Chinese one at $275.
  14. You know, for some reason I have been wondering why my 240z bumper was into the fenders on the front of my 240z, fenders that came with the shell when I bought it. That pretty well explains it for me, can't believe I didn't even think about that. I most likely have 280z fenders seeing as how they were red, and the red door shell I had was surely a 280z door shell.
  15. I've been wanting to buy a rifle and was thinking about buying a used SKS or something but I might just save up and wait and build an AR, just for the experience.
  16. No worries. There is a little button in the lower right side that say "Add Reply" you can just click that.
  17. I said that I feel and also stated that I had never had a welded diff. I was stating my assumptions. I never said that anything I said was factual or to be the truth.
  18. I have never driven a car with a welded diff, and I have never even had a ride in a car with one. Even though this is true, I feel that is because anybody who has performance in mind avoids a welded diff. Welding your differential is done for drifting, that is all. It is one of the cheapest ways to drift.
  19. I completely understand the not being rich, but you can't blame me for trying right? If I don't dream then **** would never happen! On a side note, wow on the weight, your parts look to be of spectacular quality, I like your knowledge and ability to answer questions also. As for the window track I was talking about the chrome frame, sounds great. I've got to be honest though, there are a lot of things I want that I can't afford and are not priority, I just hope you are around when the time comes, because I assure you, it will come. Another thing, that carbon stuff looks dead gorgeous. Excellent work.
  20. If you search through the boards history there was at least one thread about your car I would like to say a little over a year ago. I am very interested in the possibility to ship the doors over here? Also the door cards, these are things I know there would be interest for. Could you provide some detail on the doors? Do the stock latches and window tracks bolt into these doors? Also I didn't see any pricing for the front fenders, which appear to be single piece bucket and fender, rather interesting to me also. On another note, I volunteer to be your tester in the US, I'd gladly take a free chassis and put all of my parts in it and give my review of how well the chassis is made and goes together. =P
  21. You really think a Modern EFI engine is going to have worse emissions than a 38 year old dual carb engine? Unless you are referring to the fact that the engine was never sold in the United States, because that is the real issue, emissions or not it wouldn't matter. You can get swaps approved, but only engine that were native to the US, with the factory electronics and emissions systems and they must pass the standards given to the vehicle it came out of if higher than the vehicle going in, if the standards of the vehicle it is going into are higher then they must meet that. This is my limited understanding of the California Nazi laws.
  22. You can always get replacement quarters and weld them in to "repair" the work done. I think it will always depend on your opinion.
  23. Look in the "Post pictures of your Z" Thread. The owner is a member here.
  24. Sounded like that clutch was slipping.
