I think the chrome was a PO mod. I haven't even seen a grill with chrome like that on it.

Yea, you will get some, seemed like I could never find deals like that. Just got it and was super stoked. Its actually already bolted up on the car. Waiting for injectors and a few things, not really making progress. Tired.

Just scored a 73 front bumper for 40 bucks! Picking it up after I get off work tonight. Wonder when my wheels are gonna show up.

Well, I have it cranking and I am getting spark. Ready to attempt firing it off but Its still open headers at 11 at night. I was just going to rig the fuel pump to try to get fuel into it. Other than that I plan to fire it tomorrow. Don't think I should have to many issues. My TPS isn't exactly right though. I have a few things that need to be worked out. Other than that, hope I can get this baby running! FINALLY! pictures to come.

Why not just run an R200 OBX?

I said RWHP as to one of the above referenced statements. I was being serious on the question. I really wasn't sure it was possible to crank that from an L28. I am by far not an engine man at this point. I thought it was pretty hard to get these to make more than around 450-500 whp. Although that is plenty for something at that weight.

I don't think it is possible to get 700rwhp out of an L28, if you can do that, well, please do tell us how.

I am going to go 225/50/16. I Shouldn't have a problem, but if I do I guess I will get flares or just roll the lip on the inside. Its expected. Not to super worried about it.

Got to be the biggest PITA! that I have done in a while. When I put them in I actually had to soak them in wd40 then work them and stretch them tight to get them in. Then bolt it down and take it back off to double check they were on straight. It Wasn't fun.

I think he is mistaken because the Pre 73 bumpers I believe actually wrap tighter and have the insets, so they don't have such a visible gap between the body. Maybe I am wrong so not saying this is true.

Ok, bought something I shouldn't have but I got a killer deal. Just under 400 for 4 16x8 0 offset XXR 002's. My ring gear bolt spacers should be shipped out tomorrow. As soon as I get those the differential will get put back together and I can finally get the rear end under this car. Then I need to weld that stupid last bar into the Fuel Cell cage. Get fuel line, brake brackets. Finish welding up the trans mount, drop the engine in and hopefully it will run. Still lots of work. Not sure the wheels will fit without flares, we will see. I may just do the flares as it is a plan for later down the road anyway.

The ZE512's are a very affordable tire for what you get. If you have enough money, buy Michelin Pilot Sports, they are great, the last long, I love them. Another affordable tire I think is good would be a Yokohama YK520.

How are you sure you are getting fuel? Try starting it on starter fluid. Are all of your sensor hooked up? It sounds very much like a timing issue. Especially what you were saying about the cam. Some of your posts are kinda hard to understand. Grounds will for sure cause it not to start. How did you check spark?

Well, its moving, Trans mount is tacked in but my welder is giving me issues (vintage piece). I got the differential taken apart and I am starting the process of putting the obx in but I am in need of new bearings, where to get them? IDK but Nissan should have them.

Pull-a-Part 14 dollars for 2 mirrors. Look pretty good. The 240z they came off of, didn't. It still has a few good parts, in Indianapolis, also have a 300zx there. If anybody wants to check it out. I took one tail light and the garnishes and these mirrors. Transmission mount is sorta coming along. Few more kinks and some welding and it should be good. Still haven't gotten around to putting the OBX in the pumpkin yet and still need to to final work on the Fuel cell.
