  1. Man, I didn't even make enough last year to pay federal taxes, they only took out state taxes, and it was only 7 dollars and something. I am not getting anything in return.
  2. I believe he meant he cut into the backing plates to trim them. I don't advise taking them off because while driving if you hit a puddle (maybe you don't drive in the wet) but the water can splash on your rotor and then you get that wet brake catch every time you hit the brakes after hitting a puddle or a little bit of water.
  3. What are you doing with the signals? If you want 280z signals we might work a trade 280z signals for 240z signals, each individual pays shipping or something. I will have to get a time when I can take mine off or get something for a temp because my 280z is my daily but I want 240z signals and it sounded like you wanted 280z signals. PM me. =P
  4. So, I think its fine but I want to double check, I took the heat plate next to the brake master off. Will this cause any problem? I will upgrade to higher level brake fluid later when I do rear disks and Toyota 4 pistons up front.
  5. Cool thanks! This is the plan for my summer, GET AN RB25 IN MY CAR! haha
  6. I know stony made a write up a long time ago but you should write up the wiring and maybe the install with the skyline mounts because stony had it with the 200zr mounts. It would just help with the grinding part and everything.
  7. There's a guy here in NM that has it powder coated, powder coat it! Looks stealth
  8. They really change the look, I will probably end up spending my 170 whatever to get a new one sometime down the road, I figure new wouldn't hurt but I wish I hadn't sold my old one. Did you get one yet?
  9. You just have to search. Non of these companies spend 2500 on an engine. I had a friend that her dad just sold his r33 gts-t that was a drift car before he bought it for 1,000. I tried to get him to bring it back to the states because he was military but no luck there.
  10. The actually engine/trans combo is where I am getting my high prices from. I want to get a good RB25, not RB20 which is much cheaper. You did the oil pan yourself, I'm gonna have to pay you to do it.
  11. OOOOOHHHH BOY, now how is my 17 year old self going to come up with the money to buy an oil pan from you. Buy an RB25 from the net, R32 RB20 engine mounts and then wire the entire thing up. Not to mention the drive shaft I'm gonna need and a better radiator all the piping and stuff and then the extras I want just because I want them. Stuff like this makes me NEED to have something. Maybe I will manage to get ~ $5,000 before summers end and do a father son build with my dad and have a super fast z. I don't see it, but there is always a maybe, it would be just to much fun.
  12. Wait a second, you can use skyline engine mounts? I though you had to have the 200zr (RB20 Powered 300zx z31 fairlady z) mounts and oil pan. I know in your case pat you used a custom home built oil pan. If you can use the skyline mounts then I am gonna so get me an RB.
  13. That green car is just plain sexy! Is the window trim powder coated?
  14. You need to use the force. I bet if you get somebody to help push on one end enough to smash the bushing up and get the threads started you can then just tighten it up to get it pressed the rest of the way together, new bushing are also going to be bigger. I haven't put my bushing kit on yet but I plan to when I get my floors fixed. i want to fix all the rust before redoing the suspension that way when its out I can bedline the underside of my car.
  15. Yes well, I am "fixing" my injector. I just got some black RTV and I just smeared it on the injector tubing that clamps the the fuel rail where it is smooth and fills in the dry rotted cracked areas. Hopefully this fix will work till I can get a set of new injectors. I also got new injector clips so I can put a new clip on it. Some had tried to fix the leak by just putting another clip over the leak but that obviously didn't work, I imagin' it did for like a few months but then it just started leaking again. I also think this will do the same but I just need a few months until I can afford a new set. Either that or I can go turbo and just run a new fuel rail and injectors and everything for a turbo setup.
  16. He said fairlady so I am guessing 240? I don't think they had 260/280 style lights in a fairlady from japan but I am not certain.
  17. DUDE! Your car was totally my background for a while. Sorry to thread jack I was also interested in a BRE spoiler so I came in here. I sold mine for 80 bucks shipped a long while back before I had the new z.
  18. HAHA, I already have enough ghetto on this car, I don't need anymore. when you have tar crap and pop rivets holding your floors together you can understand how i feel .
  19. Look up a few posts. sorry last page, I don't want to lower it till I do it right basically.
  20. HAHA, I guess he has a point, I don't get why shut it down but there really isn't anything coming out of it from what I can tell. I might make something this summer and jig it up but I can't say for sure depends on what I got going job wise and if I got the time/money to do it all.
  21. You must hold the handle up, that's how my 77 is, if not yours are broken. =P haha
  22. Should I try to make one over the summer? I don't have a bender but I can use Pre-bent pieces. Not promise but has this thread gone anywhere except discussion?
  23. One of my injectors has a needle sided hole in the tubing where it mounts to the fuel rail and is spraying out gas. I want to replace all 6 if I replace one, I won't be going used unless they are reman. I would like to do something to at least slow the leak for now, any ideas? I don't have the $ to order a new set, or what injectors will work with the stock fuel rail that I can get rid of the stock holders and such? Maybe there is a write up, I am going to look
