Perfectly normal adults don't bust their ass for 9 dollars an hour like most teens will. They require at least 16 and hour, yes justin, thread jacking sucks, come jack mine? I'm up for the free bump, suck your backed up, auto zone will loan them out, just go rent one. -

0 offset they are 14X6.5 LOL, they are called Rocket wheels, they came stock on a few 280z's I think they are a very VERY rare option part. I love the way the look. That one picture is very misleading, I won't need flares or anything to run these, it looks like they stick out crazy far. They had 205's on them when They were on my first z, which is now gone, I will be putting the 195's I have on them. -

Don't you feel lucky, I am at my 2nd high school THIS YEAR! and I am going to move the my 3rd here in 2 or 3 weeks. I went to 2 middle schools, 2 elementary, feel lucky =P, Job isn't really hard, just go and apply places. Honestly most places are pretty understanding about the "Gotta start somewhere" idea, ya know? It helps I know an assistant manager here at discount tire and had a friend from school already working there. Was hired the same day I took the interview before I left, they said, ok we'll give ya a shot, come in tomorrow and we will get you a drug test, took the test, day after that called, results, clean, hired. Was my BDAY! 3 days later I started working. -

So guys, I got lugs for the wheels, I just threw one on hand tight to see how they lookedish. It was jacked from the LCA so they should look like they will at ride height (imagin tires) they are wider than the stock wheels but I will be putting the tires I have on the car on them. I am not sure if I will be able to put them on tomorrow or not depends on how work is. -

This is true, with how much I have moved, I don't have these. On a side note, I GOT LUGS so I am going to try to put my wheels on tomorrow after school, I just need to see if work is cool with me pulling a last bay swap over so long as they arn't busy. -

HAHAHAH, I am driving a car with a crappy macco paint job that is causing rust everywhere and the drivers quarter panel showing of cancer, as well as the rocker. I really think its hard to not get more respect. I am thinking I might just rock the primer. I am talking like a good metal flake metallic purple with a proper primer job and clear coat, wet sand. The whole bit is going to cost quite a bit. Even if I do all the body work and just tell them to do a good primer and go from there it should still cost alot. If you don't spend a lot. Just after looking at House of Kolor paint its around 270 a gallon for base coat, and another 250 a gallon for your top coat, not including clear coat and primer. Paint is expensive. Yes these are metallic and candy color paints but I am just trying to make the point that a proper paint job can cost 2,000. I am not saying I do not understand where you are coming from, but I do not see a good paint job being 500 dollars. Not even if you primer the entire car and just have them spray the color and clear. Materials will cost more than 500. -
I am sorry but I am starting to see something such as 280zforce had going on, lets not see this turn into that.

Umm, I just don't see the point in doing a really nice paint job when My body work probably won't be done for 2 years or more. Cheap job means I can sand it down and primer and repaint it easily. A good paint job should cost around 2,000 in my eyes. For example alot of paint cost 400+ per gallon. Labor isn't cheap (although I will do it myself either way because I think paying people to do stuff I can do is stupid and yes its a downfall) -

I know the paint won't hold up great, but you just have to really take your time, at least 3 good coats of primer, 5 coats of regular paint and a few of the clear and you spend 50 hours plus on it and it will look good and last alright. gtg to work now -
I bet it works with the jumper? haha It sparks alot, because there are electric connection that are janky. If you too the spark plug out of the wire and held it away from the wire still close enough it will spark as well. Yes its a short, thats how its fixed. only other way is to buy a new switch.

Has everybody lost sence? Its not save to be mounting the harnesses like that... Wait a sec, that's not a real harness, that cheap ebay crap. You should really have a proper racing harness and a Harness bar in the car to mount the harnesses up. You wrap them around the bar and adjust them to fix your size at the proper seat location.

Yea, mine was like 6 bucks from the shack. I'm not the best at soldering but I used to mod and sell xbox controllers. I'm sure you have all encountered my creations on cod4 when the fully automatic g3 or m9 destroyed you. =P yes I am a horrible cheater, state it and get over it...

My 280z's floor turned into a fishtank over night

There was alot to read but if you haven't already been told its probably the seal under the cowl panel. The silicone rots over time and will leak. Strip it out and reseal it and you should be good. -
I guess I could have done this, My cheep-o soldering iron doesn't get hot enough to melt the old solder very good.

haha, that's a good one. I am just going to do a rattle job until about 2 years down the road if the car is still doing alright and I get body work and suspension most the way done I will do a metallic purple with flat black flares hood air dam tail lights and idk, I guess we will see down the road. Things are bound to change. If I find a clean 240z shell I plan to just do a full swap over, but the likely hood of that is very slim. I do see an L28et in the future though, hopefully over the summer. I know all the rust will be fixed over the summer as I will have access to all types of welders, arc, mig, tig. Heck, I should have access to these in a month or two because it looks like I am going to be moving in with my dad for a bit. with the race shop my gpa has got going (fully heated and ac with tig mig lots of tools) I should be able to do a full engine swap without buying any tools what so ever and do most of the body work, I don't think he has a hammer dolly kit but with his garage you never know. -

This kind but orange, ive seen it before. -
I do like the dash, but Honestly a aluminum sheet dash and just spray it flat black will look cool. Such as the one in that 260z that's got the SR20 on youtube. then just paint it, cause unpainted is to shiny.

I litterally plan to paint my entire car with Wal-mart 1.12 a can glossy orange spray paint and their primer. I will sand the entire car, Primer it, the hood will be matte black, as the tail light garnish and airdam (when I get an airdam) and then the rest orange. I will clear the orange and wet sand. If you take your time it will look great, I have experience and their paint is usually great (avoid the yellow it is to thin) -
LOL, well, since its not doing anything bad as of right now I am just going to leave it, I just have a piece of 110 volt ground wire (just great coated on the outside) soldered across the 2 that I point to in the picture. The reason it says headlights with a question is because I remembered touching the red and white one with the red one and the headlights came on so I wasn't sure. Either way, it works right now, I am happy it works. I need a welder now and I am trying to decide if I want to go aluminum dash but then I will need gauges and I don't want to spend a grand on gauges. I would at least need a Speedo, volt, oil psi, water temp, maybe oil temp, and a fuel gauge, although I don't have a fuel guage right now, I am an idiot and I use the idiot light. Because my fuel gauge doesn't work.

Your telling me I should be taking off that green and white wire? I just have a wire soldered between the 2 in the picture and did nothing else. LOL

Yea, its cold in Santa Fe too, I can't believe you were painting. No bubbles or weird stuff? Had a heater going in the garage? Does the walmart there have the orange spray paint that is like their brand btw? Mine doesn't. -
Wow, I can't believe I missed that one in the BG too, thats 240hoke's car right? You guy's live together? Sorry I am retarded if this was covered before but WOW that must be awesome having 2 sick z cars in the garage.
