  1. Good point Dan, but this is a full size Bronco and there is no rear prop. valve. I appreciate the input!!
  2. I have had to work on my bronco a lot so I have made NOOO progress on the Z!!!
  3. yea yea yea... If not for the fact my mother would wither and die without her grandchildren I would be out west in a hot minute!!! :flamedevil: :flamedevil:
  4. Yea I really want to build a garage at my house but I don't know if I will be there more than 5 years and at this point I would rather spend 5k on my car than a garage...but I am still thinking about it. If I did build then I would go the same route as you mas.
  5. I went to my garage tonite...even with a fire going and a propane heater running I was still freezing. I couldn't work!!! What a waste of time!!! I had to come home so I could drink my beer!!!
  6. evilisasevildoes...thats what momma always said... My statement would be "Girls Suck!!" Lets hash that one around awhile..Hmmmm???
  7. Which finger is this guy waving anyway?!? Looks more like a "smile and wave" symbol!!
  8. Phyte...yea try to return those cals and get the '88 toyota 4x4 4 Runner calipers. Then obviously 84 300 zx rotors. For a spacer I took my old rotors to a lathe and cut the top of the hat off. Then turned them down to the proper thickness (measure before hand). If a machine shop did the work it would be a minimal price because the hard work (ie stud holes) are already there. Finally for my setup I needed longer hub bolts. I also used 280z REAR studs for the front as the old ones were too short as well. Try THIS link for more info. Good Luck!! Rufus
  9. $125.00 for the prop valve... I am going to try to "persuade" the one on the truck to work tonite!!!
  10. New MC no difference...until I took it back off and ran out the adjuster nut on the push rod!!! Now I have much better pedal (probably a little too tight) however the rears are still not working right. I still get no real psi out of them. Bleding them produces no fluid at psi. It simply drains out. I am going to call on a price for a Prop. valve. I heard about smacking these valves around to try and loosen it up if there is a piece of dirt in the seat. Anyone ever had any luck with that? If the dealer wants a big buck for the part a may nab one from the junk yard. demons.....
  11. Hmmm...I better go back and read that thread again!!!
  12. Very Cool...Glad to hear it...let us know how she works out
  13. Although I have never installed a helicoil, I have had many (horrible) expieriences removing bolts that have been threaded into them. They always seem to work there way out do to corrosion adhearing to the bolt. IMO I would drill and tap to the next bigger size. You might first try to run the current size tap in there...you may be able to salvage the original threads. Rufus
  14. Thanks Guys... I will tell this joker to drop the price or forget it... The parts I need are just the diff and the axles right?
  15. Found one in a local yard for $500.00 for complete rear end Diff, axles, etc... out of a 199? Q45. Is it worth it? Rufus
  16. I hope so...It is in pieces but currently resides in a garage..hope I can keep it that way...having some trouble with the guy I share my space with. It started out as a couple of patches...looks like I am going to go all the way and strip the shell for sandblasting. The only thing left on it is the rear suspension and some interior.
  17. dot, Is that a headlight cover or different fender? Looks great...nice wheels...what size are they? Rufus EDIT Just saw your site do you know where your friend got the front clip? $200 is a great price!! Cool car!!!
  18. ummm.... congratulations? married 3 years...15 to go on a 18 year sentence
  19. The one thing that reaaly erks me about the 350 is the huge chrome door handles...they stick out like they do not even belong to the car...they look like thick hoop earings on a dude. sweet but not in a good way ... in a sweet way
