I was thinkin...find someone who has a set of these rare wheels...offer them a fee for the use of just one of them for a couple of days...use a CMM or Corodinate Measuring Machine... and duplicate them using blank aluminum billet wheels and a CNC. Would it be illegal to copy these old wheels? Are they still made? Very small changes could be made so as to not completetly copy the original and not violate copyright laws...it is done all the time in manufacturing.
Thanx....would anybody be interested in buying any of these wheels if they were aluminum copies? Not an original wheel ...but one that was created exactly as the original ...except it would be machined aluminum?
This post is simply to take me to the 500 mark. It has been a pleasure so far guys, thanks for all the help. Hopefully by the time I hit 2000 my car will be on the road!!! ehem...mike
Can you get us some pics? How about modifying the headers? Or are already ceramic coated? It seems like a lot of work to modify your steering linkage to save a pair of headers.. IMO of course.

Professional Engineer allows you to create parts and sets them in motion to observe clearances etc... Not an easy program though... Do you have any auto cad expierience?

Hey Guys looking for opinions on this idea. I currently have a full size 84 Bronco w/ 5.8 2 bbl carb. What are the possibilties of pulling a efi intake sensors and ecu out of a junker and making it work on my truck? I know it is probably not possible due to no crank or cam positioning sensors but thought I would ask. Any thoughts besides that I am nuts, or that I should just buy an EFI engine?!!!

BOb,
If you have the time, could you tell me what front fenders, and rear flares you are using? The fronts look like subtle Z from reaction research. Is that correct? I don't recognize the rear though.
Thanks,
Rufus
