Thanks. Certainly light at the end of the tunnel now. Its been a long road. Will be 2000 hours labour in this restoration by the time its done. Will be in paint by the end of this month, then 5 days colour sanding and polishing, a few days putting the panels back on and windows in. After that its putting all the parts back in and making a new chassis harness to fit a PDM15 and get rid of the old glass fuses along with a tucked front chassis harness. Hopefully will have some life in it again before the end of the summer. But I can't see it being on the road until next year due to costs.

Progress on my insane VQ35HR 240Z project

Good Luck. Do you still drive the RBZ much? -
Good reply, good to see you know the issues and are taking means to sort them. Can't be easy running a small business selling parts like yours but if you make good parts and give good customer service it should all come good in the end.

Drill out the spot welds and remove it. Was well worth it for me. so much you cant get to otherwise and is s shame to leave if you are doing the rest of the car. -

If you need to shift the air from the rear that seems a good way to do it. Could you make the holes smaller so there is more surface to be visible? It should still flow enough air. Definiyitly got some supercar vibes about it as most of them have a similar structure at the rear to remove engine heat. -

Good work. Do you think you would be able to smooth off the holes well enough to have it chromed after and leave it perfect? -
Looks great. Looking forward to seeing more photos.

All the plans sound great. And we all know building a car isn't easy, problems were always likely to arise, giving you the chance to improve things like you are doing. Looking forward to seeing some videos when you finally get it running how you want. -

Nice job getting them fixed up.

Nice looking car with a good setup. Welcome.

I got mine from driveshaft shop, therefore they must have the lengths needed.

TTT also have very few photos of any of their parts fitted on a car. I don't doubt them as a company at all, but I like to see exactly what I am getting and how it fits so I can run things through in my head and decide if its for me. If they have more photos of actual installations I'd be more likely to buy stuff.
