  1. Go to http://www.czot.org and ask there in the forums. Some of us Austinites might have something.
  2. I thought it looked good, but I wanted to see it a few more times before I tried mocked it up on a real car. Maybe someone with the trim removed could maybe mock it up with some cardboard and take some pics.
  3. I had this same thought a few years ago, and even went as far as to photoshop something up. Unfortunately, I can't remember where those pics are.
  4. LVLP? This is new to me. Quick!! To the search engines!! Any personal expierience with these?
  5. My project goals are to eventually run a high compression turbo car. I would think that the control of the EDIS would be able to acheive this safer than running the turbo dizzy. Plus it is just cool. Maybe some sort of serpentine belt system could be made up instead of having the crank pulley running 3 belts.
  6. What I want to know is, has anyone figured a way to mount the trigger wheel without deleting one of the pulleys. I'm fond of my power steering, and even more fond of my A/C in the dead of the Texas summer.
  7. I saw this on one of the Power Block car shows. I was interested in it as well. Besides the points you brought up, I think it would just be eaier to deal with than SS braided hose.
  8. I'm going to be doing this on my '83 NA. I will eventurally be going turbo, but will post the ins and outs of doing it on a NA L28. I think when Nistune is finally released, we will see more advantages for this swap in NAs.
  9. Check out the Nistune thread at Z31performance.com. Once it is finished, it will give you some more options, if you weren't going to get too far away from stock. Such as bigger injectors and adjusting fuel maps.
  10. Check one more for interested.
  11. Has anyone done this on a NA application? If used on a non_turbo, does the ZXT dizzy have to be used, or can the NA 280 dizzy work. Everything in this and other threads I've seen has been for a turbo swap.
  12. I was just looking for that as well. Thanks.
  13. I'm on my third combonation switch. They keep burning up. But instead of finding the problem, I just replace the switch with a junk yard part. I'll get around to it eventually. Hopefully before my car bursts into flames.

  18. The trouble I'm having is that I want to keep my PS and AC, which limits my options of putting the 36-1 wheel on the crank pulley I would think. So, from what I understand, my options are to try to find a way to attache the wheel to the front or rear of the crank pulley or the cam.
  19. I've got a small annoying problem with my stock '82 turbo. When I let off the throttle, the engine will bog a little bit before coming back up to idle. It usually isnt a problem, but when driving at slow speeds, such as in parking lots, it can bog enough to kill the engine. The car idles fine otherwise. If anyone can point me in the right direction to start to troubleshoot this problem. I'm going to be changing out fuel lines, filters, ect... this weekend, and would like to see if I can get this taken care of. Thanks in advance.
  20. Could the stock knock sensor be wired into MS to temporarily retart the timing?
  21. I think JeffP has an electric pump.
  22. Awesome work man. I love seeing how your stuff comes out. Always looks like quality work.
  23. Wow. Not sure whey I like that so much, but I do.
  24. I'm wanting the fuel lines in my 280zx project to come up a little further back in the engine bay, closer to the firewall. I was wondering if I can bend the stock hard lines to turn up sooner safely, or will the older metal crack or break?
  25. I got the SS bolt kit from Courtesy. I believe its made by Restoration-Stainless. I decided to go that route because All the bolts come in little labeled pouches and I'm too lazy to sit there and measure every bolt hehe.
