  1. It could still be noisy injectors, they are in the same area as a lifter. (lifter below, injector above). My injectors also make a ticking sound. When I first had my exhaust installed, all of a sudden I could hear them. I also thought my valves needed adjustment, and tried that, but the ticking was still there. They just make a ticking noise
  2. No problem, just try to post in the right forum first.
  3. There is no substitution for doing it yourself! I installed a Vintage Air system myself back in 1999!
  4. szlash280z--- Please read Hybrid rules #5 ---do not double post, you already posted this in the exhaust forum.
  5. Hate to say it now, but you need to research these things before you buy! A V8 hybrid sounds like a good idea if the motor is shot.
  6. I believe with an early Z, if you buy a set of 4 springs, 2 of them will be longer. They go on the back, and the short ones go on the front.
  7. I know what your saying! The best thing you can do....is do it yourself!
  8. Don't forget the 510 610 710 810

It's holding up great! I've drag raced it many times without even thinking about the rear end, it's nice to have peace of mind! I'm still working on better traction, I'm only using drag radials right now, but it can handle slicks with no problem. If I had proper drag shocks, springs, and slicks, I'm sure it could pop a wheelie!
  11. Mine lights up from time to time at any rpm. But if I floor it in the 1/4 mile run it will work right. I tried emailing Proform with no luck. So what I did is wire in an on/off switch in the power line, and just use it when I drag race.
  12. I added a Vintage Air unit on mine. It cools really well, go to vintageair.com Where in Atlanta are you from?
  13. I have the Edelbrock pro-flow EFI. I like it, it works great! It's completely adjustable, and has it's own module , no laptop.
  14. It has a different bolt pattern. I used the '79 - '81 on my 240Z
  15. I take it you want a '79 - '81 280ZX master? Victoriabritish.com has them. Part # 64-104 $119.95 I think the clutch master is the same as a 280.
  16. Are you in the military, or can anyone do this?
  17. Summit sells this fuel pressure gauge that you can put inside your car without fuel running to it. It sells for $99.95
  18. You just have to bend the thin end down a bit, to fit the tank. Then weld it on. It gives directions on what holes you have to drill in the tank. Jegs.com sells them for $52.99
  19. It looks like if you steer that thing, the tires will hit the fender Columbo's car is a 1959 Peugeot 403 grande luxe cabriolet. 20. I have a sump, it works great! Easy to install, bought mine at Summit. Just make sure there is no fumes in it. Here is an old post: http://www.hybridz.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=21272&highlight=sump
  21. I love helicopters! I'd love to learn to fly one. But to learn is a little too much $$$$ for my blood.
  22. As long as you don't get the "drag strip bug", and buy sticky tires, and dump the clutch a lot you should be alright with the t5. But if you get the "more hp bug" your better off with the T56.
  23. Looks like you will have to make them. Go to NAPA, they have metric brake lines, pre-made in different lenghts. All you have to do is bend them where needed. They also have standard lines, and metric to standard, standard to metric, fittings.
