A deadman valve is good on those types.... the ball type shutoffs will wear out in minutes.... literally... Make sure the compressor is up to snuff, Blasters go through a lot of air.

Ok. I need a set for the 510 wagon project... Can someone measure the distance between the 2 doors (where the adjuster would end up) and the distance from the door to the tunnel at the mounting height location ?> I might have to jump on these.

Santa got the kids a wii and Guitar Hero III for Christmas...and I got addicted to it The only thing on hard that I can't beat yet is Reign in Blood... I just skipped it and went to expert.. I can play most of the expert songs... Through the Fire and Flames is a biotch.

Thanks for the comments guys... I think its actually turning out better than I had visioned it... so far.. The only problem is, after I finish up the wagon... is starting back up on the Z Never have time for doing....well, doing nothing Actually they are Hoshino Impul 2 piece wheels..

Here is the latest pics on the wagon project... BMW projectors installed, HID's installed, engine bay wiring complete, Still need the bumpers, misc trim, interior...etc... still have quite a bit left to do... but its finally coming together..

Like Mike (2003z) said.. black diamond is a good, general, cheap abrasive... I use it also for my coating.. Aluminum oxide is ok, not worth the price IMO.. Glass bead is good for getting aluminum back to its nice original finish..... also good for cleaning up oversprayed plastic parts at low pressure..

I have the "rare" SSS type air cleaner... If you decide that you want to run this one... its a VERY tight fit on a LHD car.. I have about 1/4" from the master cylinder.. I'll be able to tell better when I get the tranny installed. I could half the bakelite insulators and gain a little more...

Thanks for the info guys, I'll check the wipe pattern... Since putting the the Twin SU's and opening the head a little, I think a upgraded cam should help the little L18 quite a bit.

Ok, I a possibly looking at replacing the cam in my L18 in the wagon project car, since I added the dual SU's. Now, this engine has very little mileage on the engine.. couple of thousand.. Can I safely replace the cam and reuse all the existing components?
