Have any of you ever restored a wheel lip from powdercoated back to the original chrome, Im growing Bored with my Double powdercoated black Enkei 92's and would like the pizzazz of the chrome back in the wheel lips. I had a bookmarked page on the proccess but a recent virus forced me to get a new computer, so if any of you know or have a link that explains this process it would be super if you wanted to share. thanks as always.

Lol the only cop encounters I had recently was up on the SR-99 by seattle, admittantly I was out cruising in the z at 2am or so playing with other cars. Went into a gas station to fill up, two cops come in the parking lot. looking at my car, looking at a clip board, repeat... then the other one walks into the store and he comes up to me and goes how are you doin tonight? I simply replied good, (i think that was his sober,respectful answer test question) and then he goes, you got the big sway bars on that thing to? I was like, yes, yes I do and kinda chuckled. and then we proceeded to BS about how he used to have a Z car and him and his partner used to go street race everyone in it, (he couldn't have been more than 30, and he was mentioning it was turbo'd so Im thinking early 90's) and then his partner comes out of the store and uses the ultimate line I have ever heard from a cop, I kid you not, he goes "****, I'd say we gotta go back to work but theres to many hondas out racing around with **** cans hanging off the back and I'd rather have a beer." He was holding a pack of keystone hahahahahaha. My friend got out of the car and was like you guys remind me of superbad, they just looked at him clueless as to what that was. My friend, being the dumbass that he was goes, yeah we were out racing this honda earlier, it sounded like ass when the VTEECCCC kicked in, they both chuckled and told me to make sure I won those races from now on XD but then again, ive never met a cop that wasnt friendly in seattle, so kudos to you SPD

any bastard can go to a track with a 600whp supra, but only some can know how to control the car and not always use all of its power because its there. This case is no difference, if that motor is Legit, which it clearly looks up to snuff. Then you will have your work cut out for you in a 2000lb car. So good luck, and may the for(Z)e be with you!

ahhhh 1:33 gave me a boner! the only thing I can compare this to, is the cobra. Alot of men will buy a Replica AC Cobra, just to have the thing that looks like it, feels like it, and sometimes performs like it. S30's can drift just fine, I rock my R200 liquid seized diff (LOL) and it performs well. Same with my underpowered ZX motor/trans, sure It could use some more active camber when drifting, and you need to double check your frame and beef it up. But It will do just fine and I dont see why so many people think its so challenging or incapable. Know how to drift your car, if you want something easy go buy a 240sx

until you pop off the cam cover its hard to tell, but maybe the chain snapped or the crank is broke. Or just the valves are bent/broke. my friends KA24 lost a valve and it had all sorts of power still,but it sounded like **** (like it was missing) there was gasoline mixed in everything, and it was basically all of the symptoms your showing
