nope the only reason i asked to make sure if its a long nose or not is if you dont know it came out of a r31. If you took it out or know fro sure it came out of an r-31 then it will fit. I took several out back in the day for a mass shipmetn back to the US when i was in japan

The threaded collars slip over the outside of the strut. When i did mine i was real careful and cut the old perch off nice and even. this left a nice even spot for the collars to sit on. I used all AZC stuff too, Dave is real cool. the original set of springs i got were bad. they compressed and didnt come back up. this also screwed up the shocks because they bottemed out and destroyed the insides of the shocks. Without hesitation dave sent me all new stuff. I recommend them to anyone.

Well lets see here. First of all the only thing different between a rb25 and a rb26 swap is the initial cost of the motor sets. you will still need all the required support equipment for all 3 motors, Ie intercooler, fuel system upgrade, ect ect Oh and BTW all the stuff that has been asked here and talked about has been answered many times over. BUT just fro the sake of argument... If you have self control and can stick to a plan. The RB26 CAN be done relatively cheap and have more power and reliability then its L28 or RB25 brothers. If you can fabricate then the savings will double.

Ok let me rephrase my post above. I have allready replaced the hood with fiberglass. once the hatch is done i will do the doors next. I removed the HUGE bumpers way back in japan and had fiberglass bumpers installed. i want to say the FRP bumpers weigh maybe 5 LBS total front and rear.

It dynoed at 612RWPS once tuned with the HKZ Fcon Vpro should be in the 700+ rang easy

Well I got my motor back finally and semi assembled it. Still need to modify the wastegate pipe to fit the chassis and get the intake installed but that will come later whiel its on the engine stand.

I had to remove a door back before my car went to chassis jail and i was really surprised how heavy they are. So after a hood and hatch upgrade the doors would be next on my list.

I hit a tire once. it was 8 inches wide laying down and my car (rx7) only had 4 inches of clearance. You can imagine what that did to my all fiberglass front end:cry2:

I'm having the same problems, Seems like it started up when the "view threads since last visit" changed to posts last 24 hours. i have been just looking at the very first thread that way when i come back it acts like a book mark to where all the new threads are at. what are the chances of bringing back the view post since last visit button?

Im running draglites up front and have to use a 1.5 inch spacer to clear the brake calipers. i upraged to z32 rotors and calipers and was very disappointed to find out the wheels would not clear the calipers. I'm going to eventually invest in a set of custom bogart wheels to maintain the draglite appearance and still clear everything.

You need to search this question has been answered a hundred times. No you dont use the awd tranny. you use the rwd r33 gts-t tranny. As for the supra tranny you can get an adapter thru the castlemine rod shop in austrailia.

HAHA im in the Air Force and ran a large support section for an aircraft maint squadron. Since i had the room... i brought back my motor and tranny along with alot of other stuff in the containers coming back from okinawa. didnt cost me a dime :>

engine harness will be the stock GTR cut down to the bear minimums for the vpro. the chassis harness is allready cut down to just the basics for lights and dash harness. May have to add some wiring if anything.
