  1. its in other threads but i guess here it will be easier to find. link to the ATI damper set. http://www.atiperformanceproducts.com/products/dampers/charts/damnissan.htm and the powerglide rb26 adapter kit. http://www.atiperformanceproducts.com/products/adapterk/akit.htm if you plan on going to the track with a rb26 mated to a auto you will be in the catagory that will require a SFI damper and flex plate so you might as well get it when you do the swap. IM pretty sure in stock trim the rb26 mated to a auto wil get you into the hi tens easy at somewhere around 123mph.
  2. What are the particulars on this custom converter????? why is it a ATI only deal? my converter guy says he can make one for it.
  3. i found out after the fact that those pans are sought after by the 240 sx guys fro there swap they just cut the diff off and weld up the axle holes and its GTG oh well live and learn

  5. Oh yea and the steel part of my fenders are cut out to right under where the overfender screws into.

Here is a pic of mine. these are 15X10 with 5.5 inch backspacing. i have coilover and they just barely clear those. with the right tire i could keep them completely unfer the fenders but with the 275X50X15 BFG DR they stick out a little. IMO those wheels your talking about are way to big unless you go with some outrageous widebody kit.
  7. Jamie, Do you still have the pan i sent you with the motor? If you do and want to get rid of it let me know. wouldnt you know it. i had an AWD drive pan that sat in my garage for 2 years. one morning i cracked my knee on it and got pissed and chucked it in the trash right as the trash guys were coming by. I have the diff out of it if anyone wants i have come close to chucking that also. whoever wants it pay shipping and its on its way. Its allready boxed up and ready to go.
  8. ATI SFI rated adapter and flexplate. http://www.atiperformanceproducts.com/products/adapterk/akit.htm unless you or anyone else knows of one that is cheaper and SFI rated. i think they are the only ones that make it.

  12. Well thanks to a tech crack down at the track i will be needing a damper before running. anyone have one they want to get rid of? I will also have to go with ATIs glide adapter kit because it has a SFI cert and the castlemine adapter dosent. ( MATT NO I TOLD YOU SOs :>) SO anyone interested in a rb26 to gm tranny adapter. it comes with the adapter plate, flex plate adapter and all the hardware. for a pic of the kit click the linkhttp://www.rodshop.com.au/catalogues/AdaptorPlates.pdf its PART NO.   13. Matt, Its almost fuel pump time for myself any suggestions. plan on tuning it out for max power for the king of the street competition at the track. will need somewhere around 750rwhp and lo 9 hi 8s fro ET to be competetive Clint
  14. If somewhere inbetween the spokes they have 3 little circle things they are watanabes. I think i can kinda see them in the pic
  15. JAMIE T is working on a set of struts that are going to be perfect for this kind of rearend buildup. I almost wish i would have gone teh same route with mine instead of all out drag car. there are tons of 9 sec gtrs out there and if you got the diff in teh car with a set of custom lenghth gtr axles that would fit in the Z i think it would be indestructable.
  16. Well your A/F ratios are way too high. I would say dangerously hi. richen it up alot yo may see more power. i would fix that before you do any more runs
  17. If its a true GTR its a S20 DOHC. very rare and very very expensive

  19. Ok so i have been trying to answer as many of the will my rb26 fit in my 240-280 z car for like 6 years now. I have been really patient and tried to be as helpful as possible. If i see anymore of these questions especially ones that are in the "So you wanna do a rb swap†thread. They will be either locked or deleted. In the last 3 years I have yet to see anyone come up with a question about the process involved with the basic swap that hasn’t already been answered somewhere by myself or some of the many others that have done this swap now. I finished mine the first time 6 years ago. When I came back to the US I was the only one with the exception of the one out of Canada that was in the states. SO I was more then happy to help back then. Now is differnt. I think I can speak fro everyone else here that the questions are getting old. So please if you have a basic question and think it hasn’t been answered your wrong. If you have question you believe has never been addressed feel free to ask. If it gets deleted...Well then you know it has been answered and is really easy to find. SO please read up and get smart then ask questions if you feel they haven’t been answered before. Thanks Stony
