  3. Ok So does anyone have one ???????
  4. Thanks Fraz make that a r33 gtst rb25 5 speed. or any gtr awd tranny. Is that specific enough. Sorry dude most people in this forum that have these parts know what i mean
  5. Hey guys anyone out there in Z land have a z31 handy that they can measure the caliper over hang on the stock calipers?? Its measurement A in the above pic
  6. ok let me be more specific, i need a rb26 awd tranny bellhousing or a gts t 5 speed bellhousing. i need it for a z32 tranny. Thanks for the help there fraz:mrgreen:
  7. I'm looking for one for a future project. dosnt matter if its rwd or awd tranny just needs to be the one that will work with the rb26. Thanks
  8. with a welded diff i guess it wouldnt be as bad as with a diff. i broke several on launch and that split second it takes to get on the clutch it tore out the brake line put a couple dents in the floor and then lodged itself in the control arm ( azc ) Was a bitch getting everything apart. cant imagine doing that at hiway speeds. I think if i had stuck with the IRS halfshaft hoops would have been installed for safety
  9. if your talking a show car or street driving install i guess you could do it for that much. but if your looking for 9s or better try 5K +
  10. oh yea in the position it is in now it has i think atleast 2 degrees built in. another words you will never get 0 camber. it will always be neg once installed unless you slot the holes somemore.
  11. not supposed to be a pic of the cddamber plates but its good enough. i did exactly what you said. cut out the stock top and welded in the AZC camber plate. seal and painted it. looks almost stock. im using AZC coilover conversion. Stony
  12. Just so everyone knows the motor is not available anymore. its coming back to oki

    r200??

a search for "r-200 LSD" should get you your answer.
  14. hey hugh id like to see his video. actually kicking around the idea od a side project while im waiting on the Z to get finished.
  15. 5.5 inch backspacing wont work unless your running coilovers. im running 15x10 draglites on the rear with 5.5 inch BS ( or shouldt i say was) and have barely a finger between the strut and tire. if i has stock suspension they wouldnt fit. Im pretty sure 4.5 or maybe 5 inch BS is the most you can go with the stock rear struts.
  16. Sorry dude water mist and co2 are very different in temp. the big rig racing they do in europe use water to cool there brakes.
  17. Here's what not to do......... This is an actual story I over heard while at my friends shop. This guy walks in. he drives a 350Z. Real mouth to. He says hey I want to do something to keep my brakes cool. My friend replies what do you want to do. He says and I quote " I'm thinking of setting up some type of Co2 nozzles about 1/2 from the rotor and every time I hit the brakes it sprays C02 straight on the rotors" It was all I could do but not laugh. I turned around and walked away. Now am I the idiot or does this sound really stupid. I’m thinking hot rotors and extremely cold C02 sprayed on the rotor surface will be explosive????
  18. It may have been said in some of the previous 6 pages but for anyone that dosnt know the z32 tranny internals are pretty much identical to the r33 gts t tranny everyone is using for rb swaps which is identicle to the gtr awd tranny minus the transfer box. I apologize if this was allready mentioned Stony

    Pinks Video

how the hell did you guys keep that a secret for so long..... that IS BS. im so sick of seeing people get sandbagged into losing there car on that show its sickning
  21. HMMMM ordered my wheels today and thy came out to be 280 per wheel!!!!!! Oh well i guess its still cheaper then changing my front suspension out to accomadate my 100 per wheel set
  22. That was a quote from a while ago. i have sent them my measurements and im waiting on the price quote. he told me the wheel i need is a wheel they make all the time fro cobras and have in stock regularly. So i guess its a stocked custom wheel and mabe not as much?? At any rate a 400 dollar set of wheels is still alot cheaper then a new brake/suspension setup.
  23. OBTW the 15X10 i had that i specifically asked to be built into the rear end so i wouldnt have to buy another set were forotten about and now i will have to buy a wider set. oh well they fit over z31 rear disc brakes and caliper. gonna go cheap when the time comes.
  24. Draglites are setup more for cars where the calipers dont stick out past the face of the rotor. I have this problem in the front since i did my z31/32 brake install. i have to use a 1.5 inch spacer to get the 3.5 inch wide weld wheel to clear the z32 caliper. Im going to have Bogart racing wheels make me a set of custom wheels that look really close to teh draglites but with some extreme BS and machining so they will clear the calipers with either a very small spacer or no spacer at all. there wheels are only moderatly more expensive then a normal set of wheels. for example the wheels im getting to replace teh 100.00 bux a piece weld draglites will cost 150 per side. http://www.bogartracingwheels.com/ http://www.bogartracingwheels.com/bfaqs.htm here is a pic of the wheel i will be getting to match the drag lites on the rear. I talked to a guy at bogart last year and they said they could built a 3.75 in wide wheel with 3.5 inch backspacing and also be able to clear the caliper. YEEAAAAAA!!!!! Lots cheaper then changing my brake setup AGAIN
  25. Nevermind i didnt see this pic. looks like it was just the angle of the pic.
