  1. the intercooler is about the same size as the ones they have in the z32 twin turbos but thinner and plastic endtanks. you can get 300-350 out of and rb20 but you have to build it internally if you want it reliable. they are good for burning the # 6 piston when you turn the booste up
  2. i ordered the basic sds kit no options. i do want to add the knock retard option before too long. Wait i did put the fuel pump relay option in it. it stops teh fule pump when teh engine is turned off or not running
  3. they will till the auction ends then they will be dead. So if you like them save them i have
  4. first 2 selections from the catagory box should be car and part then its self explanatory. to make things easier on the top of the actions stuff click on the thing that shows the camera and this will bring everything up in photos and is alot easier to browse
  5. here is link directly to the translator for me all i do is click cancel every time it asks you to install the language pack. once you see the first page select a catagory and start drooling. Ive spent my nights shopping ;>
  6. hmm i guess the person who hosted the videos took them down oh well.
  7. i have a 3.90 r200 lsd i want a 4.11. with the 3.9 im in the top of third at the end of the 1/4. Im running 275 50 15 so a tire change will affect this. i went to a 225 50 15 and now im running thru the traps in the top end of forth. the tire diameter change was like almost 2 inches and it made a huge difference but i dont like the low profile for drag racing. If you are going to raod race the 3.9 will give you big time top end speeds. the rb26 even stock will pull thru the low end of the gears really well too. but i will not even try to give you suggestions on road racing as i never have done anything except drag
  8. wow all you guys in the states? zeroyon.... t-78??? wow that muct be ausome... is the motor built? if i go single going with a full tune motor and a t-88 ;> at 1.6 bar ;>
  9. i did mine in okinawa. the shop was called blue eye that painted it. i was stationed there from 86-91 and 99- 2000
  10. i found a thread on 240z.org that has the part numbers for the oil pan and stuff ;> check it out here
  11. well right now im at just under 400hp to the wheels. next mod to engine will be turbos. either a big single or twin super 60 hybrids. without going internal i want 500 rwhp, and low 10sec 1/4. the only standard z parts are in the rearend. I keep breaking halfshafts. Im currently trying to mod the rear end housing to except the 300z bearings so i can use the stub shafts and axles. this setup if it works should handle what i want to do check out here If all goes well i will still retain the IRS setup but it will be much stronger then the halfshaft setup but we will see
  12. never really thought about this swap much but a friend of mine owns a shop that has a dyno and he just had a Z32 on it tuning it. this car had a set of 2530 HKS turbos, upgraded intercoolers ,550cc injectors and 19PSI on an old worn out motor with 107,000 miles on it and got 420peak RWHP and a solid 410RWHP from 4000 rpm up to redline. If i ever blow up the rb i think i might go for a vg swap due to its availablility in the states. Then again, with the same turbos and booste level on the rb26, should be in the area of 450RWHP easy . im getting 390+ to the wheels with the stock turbos @ 15 PSI now. Well im going to singapore for 3+ weeks so not sure if ill be able to hang till i get back so for now talk to you guys later
  13. If you use the r33 gtst 5 speed with the rb20 mounts the front half of the driveshaft from the same car bolts right in I didnt really add metal to it i just cut on it and hammered it like you would a custom body panel till it fit around the bearing stuff and then brazed it back together... its really ugly but it was a rush job and it works ;>
  14. No you cant the bolt pattern on the brake booster is different
  15. should be done soon.... they are for sure gonna need custom axles. Im gonna have a set made... shouldnt be to hard since they are splined on both ends. Looks like they will have to be shortened atleast an inch on both side. Ive heard you can reverse the cv housings and make them shorter but not sure if its gonna be enough
  16. Wow.... first off the rb20 oil pickup cannot be used unless your using the rb25 block.... you have to custom make one i cutup and combined the rb26 and rb25 pickup. you can also plug and redrill the rb26 block for a rear sump it is currently a fwd pickup style. the oil pan will also need to be worked to get the pickup to bolt in. for mounting the engine i used the stock rb20 mounts but for 300 bucks id just custom make some they are really easy to make my 2 $
  17. heres the final pics of the struts welded up
  18. Ok the struts are insatlled with z 31 rotors and z32 calipers. Only problem now is the tie rod steering arm is too short. Im going to fabricate an arm with spherical rod ends and solid aluminum tube threaded so it will work.
  19. Me too but i think it is an option in internet exporer?
  20. just as it states... i have one, just forgot to bring home with me from the shop. Im wondering if it will bolt on to the s30 brake booster
  21. well now i have the z32 calipers and they bolted right up ;>here is the latest pic. will be welding the struts tomorro and installing more to come
  22. Well the housing are at the machinist getting fitted with 300z bearing. getting the housing enlarged on the outbd side and a collar pressed in for the inbd bearing. the next obstacle will be the cv axle length and making caliper brakets ;> If this works i will invest in a set of really strong race axles $$$$$ and see what happens.
  23. 11.2 @ 127 MPH on a rb26dett @ 15 PSI. With better turbos and more booste should get well into the 10s easy. Oh yea and a rearend that will withstand a clutch launch without breaking ;> Im working on a 300z stub axle swap we'll see how it goes
