All Eagle "ESP" Connecting Rods are manufactured from a TWO-PIECE FORGING.
-
The industry standard by which other rods are measured. Manufactured exclusively from USA made, 4340 billet chromoly steel. The standard billet rod is the strongest, most durable rod, and is intended for high horsepower applications. And for the record I have changed a HG just before this latest rod bearing thing. Not sure where you got this from???? Now it has been in and out of the car many times for mock up stuff but that’s about it.

Little update on this…. The folder ♥♥♥♥ finally called me back after many calls and emails about getting my refund for the fucked injectors he sold me a while back. He gave me a number to Phantom injection (used to be venom). Told me to ask for a guy named Bobby. Talked to this guy and he is oblivious to what the folderfuck is doing to the venom name and I explained my situation and referred him to Google “venom injector scam†and that he might be interested in what kind of business tom folder is conducting. He stated the head office will be very interested in this situation and he would look into it. The I asked him so what are you going to do about getting me a refund. He said sir I will work this today and get back to you ASAP. More to come.

The eagle rods i can still get for 550 plus shipping but for another 200 i can get billets.... what would you do? Im looking at turning 9K rpm and 30+PSI so that is just a little bit of piece of mind for me

Anyone have a couple extras laying around??? Let me know. There is another guy up here in alaska building an rb26 and somehow lost his when his block cam back from the machine shop
-
I'm not going to post this up in the for sale area just yet as it is kinda specific to this area. Well I went ahead and ordered a set of Brian crower billet rods. I thought I had HKS rods till I removed them and looked at them… They are actually Carrillo rods. I have 5 good ones and if you buy a new rod from Carrillo to replace the bad one it will cost 385 plus shipping…. Anyone interested in the set of 5???? 300.00????? What about a stock r32 crank with a oil pump mod done to it? Needs to be turned 100.00????? You may ask why you don’t just do that yourself... Well im kind of in a time crunch and the Carrillo rod is at least a month out, the crower rods will be here next week. Another reason is I don’t have any really good MACHINE shops up here in Alaska I could trust with a crank they have never worked with before. 3RD I’m going to step it up some and I want to make sure the rods are up to the task. So if anyone out there is interested let me know. I will have the crank out of the block by the end of the week. Rods are ready to go now.

I would agree this is the most likely scenerio that happened.... For the record before anyone starts Why did you sheap out on a filter crap... it wasnt that at all. To tell you the truth i wasnt aware that were such crap filters on the market. This is not going to turn into a pissing match about what filter i should have used. Closed end of story... DONT USE FRAM!!! I'm going to sticky this so people can read the info on the filters. thanks for all the advice guys.
-
Dude get rid of that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ piece of ♥♥♥♥ filter.... http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=133446
-
Alright The Chef Is Back!!!!!
-
To tell you the truth i didn't buy it cause it was cheap i bought it cause it was the first filter i found that matched the one i had. SOOOOO I got some more info from insiders in japan that knew the guys that built this motor that it may or may not of had an issue before this with the same bearing it it was just replaced... yea just that one... So it was bound to happen. The ONE thing i learned for sure on a hi dollar motor... unless you built it yourself open it up and check all your tolerances!!! The crank is ordered. and working on getting one matching rod from HKS. then bearings and some gaskets and i will be good to go. turbo rebuid kit should be here any day
-
here ya go video is better plug in pan I say start it if you have oil in it :>
-
Best spot for Autometer oils pressure sensor ?
stony replied to Canadianz's topic in Nissan RB Forum
I would say replace the stock sender location. if it goes thru the ECU... it just goes thru it to maybe light a light or something nothing important if you are going to be running a gage anyways -
Well photo bucket is down and i cant upload pics to hybridz for some reason... I looked in the rb20 skyline FSM and it doesn't show it on the oil pan... my guess it may be a z31 thing and it look like either a low oil idiot sensor or a oil temp sensor. Either way it sits in a cup that is sealed and it doesn't look like it needs to be there in my pan. As in it wont leak oil if its not there.
-
Have you put oil in the engine???? Does it leak out of there???? I looked at my pan and there is some kind of sensor in it. when i removed it way back when it had 1 wire coming out of the middle of it and i just cut it off. i say put oil in it and start it... pics coming soon
-
i wonder if it just wasn't up to the extra volume that the JUN oil pump was putting out? either way i will not be using a fram filter again for the rest of my life!!!
-
Well, I'm not sure what caused this...it was either all the bearing material clogged the filter and made it fail ( not supposed to happen) or the filter failed send crap into the engine causing the #1 bearing failure.. not sure but either way here are some pics. What i saw when i pulled the filter. I had already cut off the top and removed the orange seal. After top was cut off. Seal moved out of the way
-
UMMMM how bout what oil filter for the rb26 ordered from nissan to save on special orders. I'm going to go with an oem filter since teh fram i used last time failed.
-
Its still snowing!!!!!WTF!!!
-
HMMM tyndago He does know alot BUT... seems to me that if you dont agree and buy something he is selling it's crap... everyone has an opinion and he tries to force feed his to everyone. Sorry me no likey
-
Today i wake up to this ♥♥♥♥!!!
