  1. Found the main power cable off the on off switch loose. You could slide the cable back and forth on the stud. Before was only getting 11.8 volts at the Vpro now we get 13.5... Should be good to go!!!!
  2. Found the problem.. it was a loose connection on the on off switch.. i must have at one point loosened it for some reason and didn't tighten it. have a full 13.5 volts at all point now
  3. Im looking into a couple things. Yhe splitfires are only marginally better then stock so not sure why people pay 500 bux for them
  4. You cant see it in the video but we both have ear plugs in. been there done that >
  5. Man that sux best wishes for the family!!!
  6. Yea it’s got rather large cams. See signature for specs. Also IT sounds much angrier at higher boost levels. You can almost not hear the waste gate open at the current settings. But at 25 PSI it freaking screams!!!! I also didn’t realize the tires balloon as much as they do till I watch the video. Can’t feel the rise in the car.
  7. They are splitfire coils, but i dont know how old they are.
  8. Well having ignition issues now once the motor is heat soaked. made 557rwhp @8500 rpm. Here is the only video i got of it. Another problem i seem to be having is the Vpro is only seeing 11.6 volts in the hi rpm range. alternator is putting out 14volts to the battery ect ect so going to have to figure that out. here is a video.... same as the one posted in the other thread.
  9. Anyone have a extra set of ignition coils for a rb26???? Mine seem to be on the fritz. Engine made awesome power ....557 rwhp @ 1.2 bar or 18 PSI!!!!! rapped it out to 9K with no problems. But as we tried to dial it in more it started to develop a hi rpm miss. I think its the coils. It got so bad the motor wouldn't go past 7K under boost. kinda like a rev limiter. So anyways... anyone have a set of coils they would be willing to loan out for troubleshooting... stock is fine Here's is a video. you can kind of hear and see the miss. Unfortunately didnt get video of the 9k run ... it sounded awesome.
  10. This must be sililar to the extra drilled or undrilled dipstick location. some do and some dont... Thanks guys for the inputs
  11. I had a HKS oil filter relocator and cooler installed. The stock cooler, pressure and temp sensors were removed to install the cooler. I'm not going to use teh cooler initially to see how it runs at the track. If it looks like i will need the cooler I will reinstall it.
  12. The right side of the block just behind the oil filter, and drilled and tap hole with a cap or anything installed? I had never seen one like this and have been told by several people its not drilled .... but mine is. Its the oil squirter passage I'm going to use it as a oil pressure sender mount point. here is a pic.
  13. Yea thanks guys i asked the question before i really thought about it. once i looked at my failed fram filter it was obvious with the way the filter caved in on itself and the side that had the filter pleat on it i figured it out. nice having confirmation though
  14. Its a 159 ebay special.... not proud but it works If you listen you can can hear the 59 dollar blowoff working
  15. Getting thru the initial leak check ? breakin. Off to the dyno this weekend i hope
  16. Yea this time i will record the first run and see it either make some power or blowup >
  17. Well she is running again!!!!! good oil pressure no leaks!!! i repositioned the engine angle to get a better drive shaft angle and now the turbo side inter cooler pipe is too short so i will have to make another one of those but besides that all is good. !!!!! I'm going to run it for a while at idle and make sure all the ♥♥♥♥ is out of it ( I cleaned everything real well before reassembly) better safe then sorry. Then change the filter and oil again and off to the Dino for some break-in runs!!!! I found a K&N filter that works with the Rb so i should be good to go there. More to come soon!!! Going to run 15-50 conventional for the break-in then 15-50 full synthetic after the break-in. should make some good power now that i have all the issues worked out. And since i know whats inside now i wont be so hesitant on turning some RPM'S!!!!!
  18. OK found it in the R32 GTR FSM. That particular hole is where the blowoffs route back to and is not a source for vacuum. If I'm not mistaken you want to pull any vacuum signals from up in the intake manifold not the turbo intake.
  19. I'm pretty sure that is where the stock blowoff routes back into... let me do some looking
  20. Here are some pics of the crank. I would say it should be savable BUT I would guess you would have to have someone do it that knows rb cranks and how much can be taken off. at any rate I figure someone would want to try. 50 Bux + shipping takes it. backyard oil pump mod!!! Ugly but i guess it works. I would have a machine shop take that off and do the collar mod.
  21. Nice sounds good!!!! BRZ32 is acting funny i got a real funny forum page once i logged in.
