  1. Ok, thoughts doing both this and this together as a package ?
  2. Just another thought, Take the radiator out and have it cleaned . It may have some clogs that can`t be seen looking down into it .
  3. Kyle, Do you have pics of how / where this kit goes (attaches) behind the seat braces to the rear ? What gauge metal is this ?
  4. Jon, What type of fan are you using ? Stock, electric (pusher / puller) If it`s the stock fan, put a nice electric in it`s place. As far as the thermostat, A Nissan 180 degree. It will come up to higher temp with some hard useage, but run cooler with light duty use.
  5. Ok, it runs Does it move ? (under it`s own power) It sure is creative, but . . .
  6. Anyone have any info on these ? Ever seen them in person ? Know anyone using them ? http://www.k-mac.com.au/makes/nissan.htm I found them thru a post at classiczcars.com
  7. John, I removed both the stock brake switch and the stock pro valve. When I removed the stock brake switch I used a T fitting to take it`s place. (the T that I used is the same as the T for the rear brake line split on a 74 260) I then ran a line from the master (frt) to the T and connected both the left and right frt brake lines. I had to make a line from the T to the existing right frt brake line. I used a 1" cupling where the right frt line ran thru the (removed) stock pro valve. I ran a line from the master cly (rear) thru the fire wall to the new ajustable pro valve. From the pro valve over the trans tunnel (inside the car) to the right hand side (just behind pass seat) thru the metal right stright into the T (that`s already there) for the rear brakes. I ran the lines inside the car to get them away from all the heat in trans tunnel. This set up works great and having the pro valve right where I can get to it to make ajustment changes on the fly works for me. If you have any ?`s e-mail me (NOT Private Message) so I can answer any ?`s you may have.
  8. What about using an electric pusher mounted in frt of the radiator ?
  9. jaime, You might want to ck and see if you have made your photo`s "public". Your link to yahoo photo`s is not working.

    Welded R180

I`ve used a welded R200 for a couple of years with no problems. My car sees mostly rack use and a small amount of street. As said before, use the right welding rods. I don`t know about using bolts and then welding ??? Any compatent welding shop could easily do it. As for slow speed street action, it does have some frt push (not that big of a deal to me). If your street tires are of a very soft compond it might make it a little worse. The wet road thing, just use some common sences. I`ve done track events in the rain and would say it`s not all that bad.
  11. Welcome to HybridZ ! Alot of the componants are swapable between the years and doing a search here on your topics will bring HOURS of results. Yes, you should have an R200 rear diff. As for the build up of your engine, I`m sure others with more experience will help you with some answers.
  12. Yes the quarter windows are of different shape, but I think it`s do able ! I have thought about this for years (riding in a hot a$$ car with no ventalation)(as I`m sure others as well), maybe it`s time for some action !
  13. IMO, I would not loosen or remove rear sway bar. What brand of tire ? Cheap or high dollar ? The tread wear #`s and compound come into play. Low pro 17" tires need to ride "flat", meaning all of the tread face (contact patch) need to be on the road. Try playing with tire pressures come more and see if it gets any better ???
  14. SAME ! 75W-90 Synthetic ! I use this in tranys and diff`s (welded solid)(or not). Any season, any conditions (road / track). http://www.amsoil.com/products/tgr.html
  15. You can see my Tilton mounted in my car, look at the link in my sig.
  16. As far as the quarter windows go, it doesn`t look to hard ! There is a 2+2 i`ve been looking at in a local yard. There is a bolt in bracket that holds the window and then the pop out hinge is mounted into the rear of window. If anyone has any older microfisce or other parts reference, look it up and see if the bracket for the rear quarter windows can be gotten.
  17. Justin, MSA and VB both sell ajustable frt camber bushings. Give them a try.
  18. Troy, You can just plug the port on the thermostat housing and should be good to go.
  19. I`ve always found by not giving "these kind of people" any reply, that it pisses them off. There are to many of "these kind of people" and I wont waste my time with them. Life is to short ! Just know what you know and sh1t on them !
