John, Congrats on getting going again and good luck. Are there pics of the rear spoiler for the YZ kit? Will the rear spoiler(YZ kit)fit on a stock body Z with out the rear flares?

It would be super cool to have one, IF it`s bolted on and running! Is it complete with ALL the parts and pieces needed for it to run? Are parts / pieces avalible?

If you like the 16`s you already have, can you just get 2 new rims for the rear? If you go with the 15" package, that gives you the option of 2 different wheel sets, maybe 1 set for street and 1 set for play. The 15" tires are going to be hard to fit wide applications. I don`t know what to tell you other than It`s all in what you want!!! Good Luck!

You`ve got to love being an instructor at times like that! I do HPDE`s, and my hats off to the instructors out there! Would of been cool to have some in car so we could hear the audio!

Mike, I have a book that I got from Piercemanifolds called - Weber, Guide to Parts and Tuning that I found very helpful with learning and tuning my webers. Maybe call them and see if it`s still avalible(I`ve had mine 4 about 12 years). They are good folks, even if this book is not avalible they should be able to hook you up with another. Very nice looking car, good luck with the carbs and the racing! Would love to see pics of the car, inside and out.

Jamie, When I do "new" work EVERYTHING is new! Now, I have done some cam swaps(used stuff)where I used some "good used" parts and have had good results. If it`s a project that I want to last, NEW STUFF ! ! !

I like it! My 1st car was a 67 coupe, but I have not cared for them after the 69 body sytle. These seem to bring back some of the classic lines along with the updated sytling.

I agree, Check the starter / replace with gear reduction. Even if you already have a gear reduction on now, check the starter!

This may vary thru the early Z`s, but you have the M/C to a brake switch to a proportioning valve! The brake switch is below the M/C. The pro valve(some on firewall, some in the back of car) Both lines from M/C run to brake switch-line splits to frt left / rt-from brake switch a line runs to pro valve-to rear left / rt Try to look at a Nissan manual for your year, it will have a diagram of the brake system. Anybody please add in, I know that there are differences thru the years!

No it is not needed and should be removed from system!
