  1. Nazar, I ended up with Ross coilovers and Illuminumas. The springs are 225 rear and 175 front. I have had the rear done for about 2 months now (front is still stock) and it has made a huge difference. It's a little on the stiff side, but I dont really have any roll even with the rear roll bar gone. The squat on acceleration is much better now also. I think there are some pictures in the link below.
  2. I run 58 psi and a walbro 255 without one, no problem.
  3. Tune files are a funny thing, people just dont put them online. I guess it's because of all the different operating system on the computers. I have 2 99 computers but they both have different operating systems so I can't exchange the data between the 2. Or people dont know how their file may react on your car. I would have to be talked into giving my tune out since it's so custom. I dont know anything about LT1's but here's what I know from the LS1. Start rich and work your way down with your AFR. Surging is prob timing. Try adding some. Your VE (volumemetric efficiency) changes with the cam. It's lower at idle and higher at higher RPM (depending on the throttle setting). If you can force the car into open loop and tune the AFR you'll be miles ahead. That's a speed density tune and you can eliminate the MAF by doing that.
  4. It say's "reserve not met".
  5. Pm me with your address and I'll email out either the 76 or the 77. Your choice. Anybody else? PM your address to me.
  6. I do the TDC thing on the LS1. No rope needed. It's a snap to do. Just use a soda straw in the spark plug hole to bring the piston up and change the springs. I never tried it on a SBC, but it works on the LS1.
  7. Around here it known as S*** and get!
  8. That site rotates the manuals so their not always the same ones.
  9. The 77 link works just by pressing download, but the 76 you have to right mouse key and save target as. http://carfiche.com/manuals020/cars/
  10. Silver is the perfect color for a Z. Very nice!
  11. I'm using a 3/4 willwood and a SPEC stage 3 clutch in mine with no problems. Pic below. http://album.hybridz.org/showphoto.php?photo=3481&size=big&cat=500&ppuser=10170
  12. Just so you know, the donut went well. I screamed "Happy Birthday Bartman!" and made a huge cloud of smoke.
  13. I'll do a donut in honor of your birthday.
  14. It's just human nature to want to get back in the swing of things. Take it easy guy and let it all heal up.
  15. 666 ci, the displacement of the beasts Z.
  16. I have heat, but the A/C is 2-55 (two windows down and 55 mph minimum). In the summer I have had no problems with fogging, even in the rain. Just leave your vents open and you'll be fine in the summer. Now traction is another issue, but the heater does not help that at all.
  17. Who knows, maybe you'll get something started. I know it's been done, but not by many. Document it as well as you can, you'll be glad you did. Good luck to you and your project!
  18. I like the part where you see what's in the box.
  19. For the Passenger side here's what I ended up doing. I had all the brake lines and fittings I needed so I changed it from the way Ross does it. I used an 8" long 3/16" brake line from the junction to the wheel well frame rail. I installed one of the brake clip mounts from the old drum brakes on to the rail and then ran the Drivers side Brake Hose that Ross supplied to the clip. http://www.circuitflex.com/Datsun_Pics/Brake_Line_Pass_1.jpg For the Drivers side I used the Passenger side hose with an adapter to a 20" long 3/16" brake line that I shortened up a bit by making a circular bend in it. I then mounted the hose to the frame rail in the wheel well with a rubber insulated clamp. No pic of that.
  20. Saw this on LS1Tech.com. http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=518910
  21. I bought the amp because I had fixed a Lotus "Les Paul" clone and wanted to hear it. It's only 25 watts but it sounds really nice. It has Chorus, Flange, Reverb, Tremolo, Phaser, Funk Wah, Octaver, and Rotary Speaker along with overdrive and Delay. The sound can be a bit dirty, but with the Lotus it sound really punk. I paid 150 for it. I'm crankin!
