  1. oOOOo. I forgot about the RS200, only one of the fastest rally cars the world has ever seen. Too bad they never made more than the origonal requirement for domestication.
  2. Yea... i'm an audiophile for sure... Example? The speakers in my living room are worth 2.5k, and that's just the 2 fronts... Bring it up to 7.1 and it gets expensive real quick.
  3. Like i said... in theory. I agree that it's absolutelly awsome... just very impractical for almost all cars.
  4. "anti-lag sy system" is known as a mis firing system. It forces fuel into the exhast so there is fuel burning into the turbo while off the throttle. Don't put a system like this on a street manifold. You'll go through it in no time. It's also highly against emission laws. But it's dang cool. In theory you can be just as fast without a system like this, you just have to mash on the throttle before you actaully want power.
  5. rust like that.... the car's worth less than $1000 in my opinion, if not less. Cars with rust that requires full rebuild of chassis locations should be the $500 or giveaway catagory. Surface rust is one thing. Having to weld in repair pieces is something different.
  6. I personally like the ultima car more... but the noble isn't an ounce of bad either.
  7. Done... couldn't believe the price options for the last question... I guess i'm used to spending more on my sound then my car....
  8. engine bay (both sides, seperate pics), wheel wells, underside of floor pans I'll let some other members add/subtract from that small list. 3900 would be good deal if it really is rust free. But that's even hard to come by in california.
  9. U know, I'm fine with people ricing out thier cars with decals, fugly rims, non matching body kits, ect. But what I can't take, are the rice parts that advertise a geuine HP increase... Next they'll be tell you that NOS stickers make you faster because the surface of the sticker causes less friction in the air.
  10. Ok, since nobody replied to my post in the sticky thred yet, i'm just gonna make a new thred. This sounds crazy, but just hear me out. Take a 280ZX 2+2 and rebuild the whole back half of the car. Put an RB motor (25 or 26) in the back of it... People say they don't use the nissan AWD in a z becuase it puts the motor too far foward... well, build a custom adapter for the tranny to spin it 180 degrees, build a custom linkage, run the front (used to be rear on skyline) gear differential upside down and viola... Well, it would probly take well over a year of hard work and tons of money... But hey, it's would be SO awsome. I'd imagine with the tank, radiator, spare, battery, ect, you could get close to 40/60 F/R weight distro. Now, a real challenge would be adding a 20-40 LB ballast to run foward as the gas tank lost weight to keep weight over the front wheels. Then again, that might be counter-productive. I know, it sounds totally reduculous. Just give me opinions. It would probly end up a bit lighter than the skyline too. What other obsticals are there that seem impossible about this idea?
  11. Very nice again. I love the ultra smooth look. The drip rails are a must get rid of thing for me, but the other "small things" that end up taking alot of work look nice man. I can't wait to see it painted.
  12. Freakin' high quality photo for a cell phone dude. Is your phone the size of a cd player or something?
  13. LOL, may you brun in hell. (flames enough). I can't say I know a TON about guns. I like to shoot them, I'd like to own some in the near future, but I'm a farcry away from being an expert. That being said, I love glocks. I've also shot a sig that was really nice (don't know what model, but it was a .45). I've shot a 44 magnum dessert eagle (deagle as we CS people call them) and a .50 cal deagle, those are SO much fun. Not nearly as much canon type kick as I was preparing for though. For some reason I can just shoot glocks well though. I can just pick them up and they're just kinda "in the pocket" for lack of better terminology knowledge (it's a music term, sorry). If there's ever a big national hybridZ gathering we should plan a couple of hours at a range.
  14. Dang... I need a parental loan... Ouch, too bad I already owe them. Dangit!
  15. Honestly, if you were selling the car about 6 months from now I'd buy it in a heart beat. Looks like i'm gonna have some small steady income, but won't have 6k saved up for a while yet. It's too bad, cuz it's a nice car man. Worth the price (easily in my opinion).
  16. Gollum

    Where?

Yea, I'd try to find one from a dry state. There are quite a few Z cars in CA that sell for under 3k that are in fairly nice shape. I plane to save up around 6k and buy one that's already got some mods to the suspension & a solid reliable engine, so I don't have to worry about dumping money into it right away. There's tons of them out there, just gotta hunt. And like wayne said, happy hunting.
  17. To the grave, that's where. (not saying it's a bad car, just not a modern rendering of what the origonal was IMHO)
  18. I've seen a wooden harley, but I don't think it was functional. But it was full size, and wonderfully detailed.
  19. no pic for me.... time to bust out the IE. EDIT: Pic came up now. That's..... weird
  20. I bet he owens a few. Man I KNEW those old fords were still good for something. Lets go put a V12 back there 8)
  21. I agree, it wouldn't look good on the road... expecially the tail light section. BUT as far as concepts go i think it's 100% fab.
  22. Hmm... no kit cars... The ultima & noble would be high on that list. But apartently a kit car can't make it on the list, while a prototype that never hit production can? Kinda wierd. Still a good find though
  23. LOVE the take-back-ness! I'm exited now. MAYBE they'll shed some weight too
  24. Yay for foosified! Looks good man. Looks natural, but way better than stock.
