'MOST' tracks? I'd put my money on it with ANY track. It it was a 300hp FR car it would be a different story. A FF is gonna understeer, period, by comparison. The skyline has very little understeer for a AWD car. There's no reason a skyline couldn't be setup for a track specifically. I see no curcumstance that the FF car should win. It just doesn't compute. (granted, this is all if the drivers are of equal level)

Nothing was more painful than when my brother's 93 cobra was stolen. That's pain man. Ever since then that split second before you see your car becomes heatbreaking. It's like reliving the pain everytime you look for your car and don't see it right away. Sometimes it's looking in the wrong isle. Sometimes it's one space farther than you thought, or on the other side a big van. Sometimes it's just that moment before turning the corner and expecting to see it. But everytime it feels like your car might have been stolen. What i'm trying to say is, I feel your pain.

I need to get some window stickers or something. I'm totally advertisementless. And I KNOW I've caused my share of bandwidth use. I need to support the site some.

Ok, i get it now. Either the top rail of the frame would have to be a detachable part of the t-top (wich would make the point of having a frame moot) or you'd have a bar just hanging out there with the window down and the top off. I'd gladly give up my t-tops for window track/frames.

tail light assys for the 2nd gen CRXs can cost over $800! from honda. That's just insane. No wonder people go with aftermarket tail lights. Honestly, with how hard it is to get perfect tail lights, I'd pay $500 for "perfect" tail lights. Those aren't perfet, so i'd pass them up. Honestly though, I'd much sooner go to something custom. I'm not a fan of the S30's butt, so custom tail lights would kinda go with anything I did back there.

It's ok Oleh, many USA muscle guys are the same way, it's not just ricers. It's all "car guys" that don't really know anything. I've got a friend/bandmate that thinks his tacoma will out run my Z. He also owns a 69' charger that's been sitting for 5 years. He constantly says things to proove he doesn't know anything about cars. I'd surprised if he could do his own oil change. He keeps saying he's gonna put a 900HP high compression (he doesn't know it's high compression, I saw the catalog he was looking at) 440 in it and then put a blower on it and get 1600HP, cuz he saw someone in a mag do it.... I'm afraid he's gonna kill himself. Yea, lets take a 12:1 comression motor and try to put it beyond 20:1. Real smart. He tries to tell me that factory challangers ran 11's back in the 60's. All because some mag took a "factory callanger" and ran 11's... I asked him "did they change anything?" he says "no" i say "NOTHING?!" and he says "well, the changed the tires & exhast. I asked him "does radial tire mean anything to you?" I went on to explain about how old tires suck major *** and exhast alone could mean a 5% increase in power. I told him that if the mag was really saying what he was saying, he should stop getting that mag. Some people need to learn something on thier own. I'm getting sick of people who just believe what someone said and taking it as the untaintable truth. For example. I love mustangs. One of my favorite cars. Who wants to tell me the 03 cobra will run 12's stock? Cuz i've seen well over 50 run at the track. The only 12 sec cobra i saw were modified... Ok, so it COULD be the drivers. But fact remains, in most drivers hands, it's a 13 sec car. That kind of information isn't told, it's seen.

I agree with grumpy's message. But I'm just gonna say be careful out there. There's a line you don't need to cross when out on the street. And the line will be in different spots under different circumstances. That being said, sounded like fun. I've gone 140 in a CRX that had the origonal suspension. I think we were probly going closer to 150 but the speedo stops at 140. I've got a great pic of the speedo pegged and the RPM pegged at 8k. So awsome.
