  1. http://www.datsunracing.com/z/73botiz/front_end_mod2 That thing looks soooooo sweet. That is on my shopping list now!! Great looking set all around too.
  2. I bought mine from AutoZone, I asked it for a "1997 2500 2wd 5.7 litre w/EXT bolts". $144 Lifetime Warranty. There is another starter offered on those years too, but it has internal bolts and is too large like an older style Chevy starter. Just be sure its a mini-starter, it weighs a whole 8 lbs or so.
  3. Cool beans, I already have steps #1 and #2 done already when I removed the clutch master cylinder. Thanks for the help Larry, I'll let you know how it goes. Oh, one more thing. Does anyome know if the pedals and arms are made of steel or iron? I ask because I want to weld on a larger GM type "disc" brake pad seat.
  4. Instead of starting a new thread, I figure that bring an old one from the dead will serve the same purpose of finding out information that I need and others could possibily use as well. I hope I didn't upset anyone, if I did it wasn't my intention.
  5. Does anyone have an example of what year/make/model a Dana/Spicer 1310 U-Joint came on? I don't have a "for sure" idea and the "clerks" at AutoZone look at me funny when I ask them for a Dana 1310 "Brute Force" replacement U-Joint. Thanks guys!!
  6. Hello, the pic links are dead. Would you mind reposting them? I am too highly interested in these.
  7. Hey guys, I have searched and didn't find anything about removing the stock clutch pedal assembly. I am nearing the completion of my 383/TH350 swap into the car and wanted to clean up the interior alittle and since the clutch is no longer used the pedal can go too. I have already removed the clutch master cylinder, but could find an easy way to remove the clutch pedal assembly. Any help about the clutch pedal removal is welcomed and thanked in advance.
  8. Hey, the pics are showing up anymore. Any chance of fixing them? I am always taking notes with different cages, etc.

  10. Anyone have any updates on a 1st GEN pod? Thanks!!
  11. I couldn't find the pics on your site Tim.
  12. Does the removal of the speedo work the same way?
  13. Besides the music, the video had me rolling laughing on the floor. The guy in the truck is got to be the stupidest guy I've ever seen. http://www.ftlauderdaleracing.com/downloads/videos/AntiRicerCompilation.wmv
  14. Here goes my letter writting to Sac again. It seems like every year they try a different version of the same BS Bill to reverse the one they started in 1998. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ A THREAT TO YOUR HOBBY! Despite assurances from the bill`s sponsors that a good faith effort would be made to address hobbyist concerns, this bill continues to betray the trust of the collector car community. Here`s how: * HIGH COST: This bill could be far costlier and even more burdensome to vehicle collectors. * ARBITRARY GUIDELINES: Regulators could set emissions standards to any level that suits their purposes in order to ensure inspection failures. * UNLIMITED POWERS: Nothing in this bill would stop regulators from bringing 1975 and older vehicles back into the Smog Check program at a later date. STAND UP FOR YOUR RIGHTS! Again, we urge you contact the Governor`s office at the address or fax number listed above. Here are some talking points to include: * California`s current law recognizes the minimal impact of vehicles 30-years old and older on emissions and air quality. * Vehicles 30 years-old and older make up a minuscule portion of the overall vehicle population and are poor source from which to look for emissions reduction. * Antique and classic vehicles are overwhelmingly well-maintained and infrequently driven. Legislators, regulators, and stationary source polluters are feeling the heat from a failed effort to meet air quality goals and are looking for a convenient scapegoat, using false data and inflated annual mileage assumptions to further their case. Don`t let your hobby carry the burden of their mistakes--contact the Governor`s office today!
  15. I thought it was 2 5/8" for the smaller gauges. Just making sure before I open the checkbook for Summit. Thanks Guys!!
  16. What size gauges did you guys use for the smaller gauge openings? 2 5/8" or 2 1/16"? Thanks again for the help.
  17. Hey Mike, did you mount all your auto meter gauges the same way?
