  1. I'm doing the same thing as always and all I get is the link in teh post. any ideas? Above link was posted with tags on it
  2. I don't think there is a better looking wheel for a Z but that's just me. Good luck selling yours. If I was not going to get hammered by uncle sam in april I would buy these for another car I bought a few months ago. Good luck with the sell.
  3. Guys this is a deal. I bought those wheels about two years ago and they were about 2500 bucks then.
  4. You can move the knock sensor. I have mine mounted on teh setback plate. It does not have to be in a water jacket to work. And plug the hole the knock sensor was in.
  5. I'm in for at least one.
  6. John, I'm doing just that, a dedicated ls-1 powered track car. You are right about the time and money part. Also right about the V-8 Z car and an IT car. I could not match lap times at CMP in my street driven lt-1 240Z that the IT Z cars were running there. I hope to be able to say differently this year. Ever come to the east coast? I would love to have you to set up this car but unfortunatly I can't get out there. I have saved most of your suggestions on suspension set up. Time will tell if IT Z cars still best any time I can post.
  7. John's kit is easy to install and no guess work on engine postion.
  8. John, This car did not have flairs. There must be two fast miatas on the east coast.
  9. That is Ross's parts at modern motor sports. All his stuff is top notch. I have a pair of those control arms. Very nice part Mark
  10. I've got those injectors on my lt-1. I did not use the clips. THe bolted down rails hold everything together nicely.
  11. I spent a weekend playing with a turbo charged miata at VIR. I'm driving my lt-1 240 and we are having a ball. I can just and I repeat just take him on the straights and he can just take me thru a few turns. What a ball. This was with a turbo on an otherwise stock engine. What a neat car.
  12. Buy them some ear plugs or if you want to be a really good neighbor, get them some bose noise cancellation headphones. Me, I would go with the ear plugs.
  13. Thanks for the info. Do you have coil overs on your car? How much clearance between the strut/spring and wheel? These are on my short list of wheels for the track car. Aways makes me nervous ordering nonrefundable high dollar parts.
  14. I love those wheels. What backspacing did you end up with?
  15. I bought off ebay. I believe it was fbody salvage. They had a ton of positive feedback and I used a credit card to cover my a$$ just in case. Motor and ALL associated parts arrived well packaged and undamaged.
  16. When you are filling the cooling system, unplug this line and use it to burp air out of the system. 944's have a valve in the head similar in position to this tube and it is used only to vent air out of the system when filliing it. Let us know how it goes.
  17. The car was mainly used for auto X and track days. Little street time. The pedal effort was increased but it was not bad and easier to modulate the brakes.
  18. I used to run my 240 like that. I made a plate that adapted the stock master cyclinder to the fire wall and had to make an adjustable push rod but it worked well.
