  2. If this is the same car, and I think it is, I emailed about buying it. He told me it had been appraised at 60K. Yes $60,000. I wished him good luck with his sale. It is one sweet car. Mark

  8. I have found a good way to monitor o2 sensor functions is with an AF meter. On my lt-1 when the af meter gets erratic an O2 sensor is needed. I'm running an ls-1 with 2 O2's (Rt and lt bank) so 2 af meters. I thought about using a toggel but this was easier. Sensors would sometimes get oil fogged and they went south soon there after. Mark

  11. I've delt with Ross C. numerous times. Parts are always top notch and service is always been there. This is no exception. I ordered a set of billet CV adaptors from Ross. While installing them, I noticed excessive play in one adaptor. I e-mailed Ross and explained what was going on. He is shipping another out to me and is paying the shipping cost for me to send the defective part back to the manufacturer. All done with out questioning my ability or making it sound like I was in the wrong somehow. How rare is that? Just wanted to share my positive experience with Modern Motorsports. Mark
  12. I'm using the high out put version (105 amps) on my 73 with out the datsun external regulator. Works just fine. Mark
  13. I've seen a couple of AWD cars lose the clutch. Most recently and EVO. When it's clutch went it had just the symptoms you describe. Sorry. Hope I'm wrong. Mark

  16. Spoke with the seller last night, a buyer is flying in about lunch time today to see the car. If this falls thru, seller is supposed to call me. Wife is not thrilled but resigned to the fact that I'm sick. Mark

  21. This is a race car so no radio or HVAC. I was suprised how sturdy mine was when I had it mounted in the car. By the way, the front glass was out and made the job much easier. I would be a bit leary of the heater controls. Repeated movement may weaken the glass over time. Only guessing here. I would try to add some support to that area. Mark
  22. Did the calipers come with pads already loaded? Buy some good pads, use some dot 4 fluid (valvoline syntec is a good one for the street) and bleed the brakes again. Good luck, Mark
