  1. All my family is from the Hudson area and still have lots of kin there. My last name is Icard. Like the town. MArk
  2. I just ordered my gauges for mine. I'll tell you what I have done so far. By the way, I do agree it is a very nice piece and fits great. For the part of the dash that goes down toward the center consol, I removed the stock supports from the stock dash, removed about 2 or 3 spot welds on each side and then used rivets and epoxy to mount this piece to the PDK dash. This allows for a mounting point from the PDK dash to the stock mounting point on the tranny tunnnel near the fuse box. From the mounting points on the PDK dash on the far left and rioght lower corners of the dash, I drilled holes in the dahs and used nut, bolts and washers to mount the PDK dash to the stock dash mounting points that are near the air vent pulls. Use the washers to make sure the dash is sandwiched and not tightend down on a surface that is not perfectly flat. For the mounting points at the leading edge on the top of the PDK dash, I made 5 brackets out of 1.5 inch wide aluminum that bolt to the stock dash mounting points just under the wind shield. Holes are drilled in the dash and thru the bracket and secured with nuts, bolts and washers. Hope that helps. I could have made the console area brackets out of aluminum strips also but the stock parts were already bent correctly and easier for me to use them. I would take some pics but my son has the camera and has been to New Zealand and Australia. He'll be home soon so I could post pics if needed. Mark
  3. I'm in Just outside of Charlotte. I'm thinking of riding up there this Friday with the trailer and cash and see what he willl let it go for. Reserve is 8000. Mark

  5. Just 4 hours from me. I wonder what the reserve is? Mark

    Surprise!

Looks like Roebling, Could have been a mess in the braking Zone. I'm sure they sent him home for the day.
  10. Thank goodness for that.
  11. Let's see, the local gov't can take my home or business because they know more about the common good than I do and now I hear noise about making the flag a sacred image again. No I'm not going to go burn a flag but I don't need a constitutional admendment to tell me what is right and wrong either. Land of the free and home of the brave is just a line in a song now. Mark
  12. how old is the optispark. These are usually the culprit on ignition related problems on this engine.
  13. Congrats and enjoy!!
  14. http://www.lord.com/Default.aspx?tabid=1151 Not that expensive. Works great. I bonded a pair of fiberglass flairs to the Z and tried to pull them off. They are on there for good. Do read the instructions first. Mark
  15. Try your local nissan dealer. Call courtsey nissan and get a price first and then try to get your local dealer to match it to save on shipping charges. Mark
  16. I'm reasonalbly sure that I checked that when I did mine and it didn't matter which way it was wired. If anyone knows different chime in.
  17. Does not matter. Either one will work as a ground
  18. Most of what I do is for my family. They love me for it and appreciate what I do for them. That keeps me going and makes me think I'm on the right track. Stuff doesn't matter when the Doc looks at you and says that your first born may die. He's fine now, but that brings a clairty of perspective that nothing else can touch. Mark
  19. Also make sure the floats, float. Another culprit could be the valve on the float is bad and not closing all the way when the floats are up.
  20. Start with a nicer car. You will be way ahead in the long run.
  21. My webers did that one time. The float was hung open and the bowl would overfill and run out the side of the carb. Take the tops off and make sure the floats can move freely and are not gunked up. Mark
  22. I'm confused, if the offet is more than stock why are the tires so close to the spring perch? I would measure the off set again. I think you may have narrowed the track of your car not increased it. Mark
