  1. If the parts are in stock, shipping is pretty quick. I've ordered parts that were shipped out in the next day. I've also ordered parts that took a while but they had to be made and Dave was upfront about the lead time on these parts. Mark
  2. Mount the surge tank so the efi pump is below the surge tank. EFI pumps don't lift well.
  3. Compputer crashed and I lost all my digital photos I had saved. Sorry, If no, no, WHEN the car is apart again I'll take mors pics. Won't be any time soon. If you have specific questons I'll try to answer. Mark
  4. here is one http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=94272
  5. Could you sleeve the connections for the passages at the seems? Use some kind of sealer or epoxy on the sleeve for seal as the parts go together. Then weld it?
  6. I do track days with a friend who has a well set up street driven 944T. He is a VERY good driver. Most days we run neck and neck. I have the horse power in the straights and he can pull me in the turns. My car is very not stock lt-1 t-56 tons of cash ect. My friend just installed a bigger turbo and is ready to go back to the track. I bet he takes me now. Mark
  7. A budy of mine works at the local porsche dealership. He had a customer come back several times with his porshce because it would pull to the left. The guy was huge. After several times of checking the alignment and all was good, they finally put the owner in the car while it was on the alignment rack. All good now. Anyway, if you don't find anything amiss with the suspension, swap the rear springs from left to right. See if the other side sags, then you will know if it is the springs or something else. Mark
  8. Check you power to the ignition system. Make sure you have power when cranking and when key is at the RUN or ON position. I had a similar problem. Had power in the ON position but no power to the ignition when cranking. It would try to start When the key was released from cranking because the ignition system got power just as the motor stopped turning. Also, check the spray pattern on the injectors. Could have a clogged injector that still checks out OK electrically. Hope that helps. Don't give up. You'll figure it out. Mark
  9. Fifty thousand? Have fun with this guy and keep us updated.
  10. Dayz, Canada eh? Good luck on your project. You have more patients than me. Hope it goes well. Mark
  11. The frame rails are hardly ever true on a 30 + year old car. I would bet that part of the difference you are seeing is in the technique you are using to measure. Try again and see if the results are the same. Also try a string from the front of the crank under the car to the output shaft on the trany and see how that lines up with the diff. Speed Racer has the best idea, put it together and drive it. If no vibration, your good. Mark
  12. After looking at your pics I reccomend that you stop now and find a better car. I know, you can't find one or they are all rusty or you have more time that money. You will spend more on that car than you will scraping it and buying another. I speak from experience. It will get old chasing rust. Look in the classifieds on this site. Some good starting points there. Not being an A$$ just speaking from experience. On the second pic you linked, that rust is terminal.
  13. From what I could tell, laying on my back looking thru where the clutch fork goes in to the tranny, looks like the collar pulled off the made in China pressure plate. Never seen that before. Next time good parts. I'll know more when I pull it apart. Well if you are going to put pressure like that on me I guess I'll have to go now if the car will cooperate. Mark
  14. Glad to hear your weekend went well. are you still going to the 3-25 day at CMP? I have to get mine back together AGAIN. I may not make unless I get really motavated. Nice to hear the porsche boys let you come and play. Could anyone there hang with the Z? I doubt it. Mark
  15. Are you running the delrin and Aluminum control arm bushings?
  16. I'm running these front and rear. http://www.koniracing.com/8611.html
  17. At 16 you need all the protection you can get. Buy a car with air bags. Just some fatherly advice. After you wreck one or two hondas, then look to buy a Z. Mark
  18. John, That was a 10 day project. Rings bearings , clutch, starter, water pump, front rotors, pads, dust seals on the calipers and new tires for the track. I hope I'm done spending for a while. The wallet hurts. Track day at Kershaw probably onthe 25th of March. I'll let you guys know some more details later if you are interested. About 4 hours of track time on a Friday. Mark
  19. brake cleaner. It will displace the water and evaporate quickly.
  20. Good to hear you are going to get to work out your anger issues. About time you got back out. I just finished putting the car back together and it works. At least it ran for about 5 minutes. I'm heading to VIR friday for a 2 day deal. I may have a line on another private day at Kershawin late march. You interested? I get some details and let you know. Have fun and punish those German cars. Mark
  21. Pete, Those headers are the holy grail. If some one will build them, I'm in. Full length headers that would clear the canton pan and your type bell housing should work with anything else out there. Lets make it happen. Mark
