  1. meh, slow and ugly. yeah right! anyon got 12,500 i can borrow indefinitely????!??!??
  2. you could probably get at least a couple hundred for it. assuming it's in tip top condition, rebuild heads sell for around 300-400 on your favorite online auction site.
  3. i don't remember how my old 350TH was set up, but i know on the Z trannies there is a separate gear that turns the cable. is there a replaceable gear inside the tranny that turns the cable?
  4. also note - in order to have a fibreglass body, there had to be substantial steel bracing underneath
  5. you'll want to direct your question to 2003z ( http://forums.hybridz.org/member.php?u=13260 ), the owner of the car.
  6. common rust areas for Zs... as for the framerail, if it were me, i'd get rid of all that surface rust with a good rust eating compund then weld in some bracing and seal that sucker up with some POR or something similar.
  7. salvageable. i don't know a source for ZX floor pans, but zedd findings has them for the S30. actually, i suppose i should ask whether that frame rail is surfacr or structural rust.... i don't know about welding in a section in a structural piece; the heat might weaken it??
  8. what diameter gauge is that? nice install!
  9. if you're thinking about machining a dish into a flat piston, you're much better off trading those flats to someone who wants them for an NA aplication and get some dished from them. makes both parties happy
  10. where in SD are you? i'll take a look at it on monday if you're not too far....
  11. second one reminds me too much of a porsche
  12. ^no idea on those ports. i found that OBNOXIOUS
  13. no diff. P90 will be (arguably) best for the quench. but the N42 is a great all around head. highest compression in heads that have large valves. that means less work, no milling to bring the compression up, and still a decent quench area. my favorite NA head (if you don't want to do more work)
  14. your best bet is swapping in a 280zxT motor.
  15. ^great idea on welding the doors shut. one of those "hop-in" dealies like old roadsters! wouldn't have to worry too much about parking too close to someone to open your door.....
  16. and that the dist hasn't skipped a tooth/teeth
  17. i am going to agree on either a shaved P90, or for something with no milling/shilmming (but with slightly less ideal quench area) an N42. but ya, 200 won't be that difficult
  18. wait.... so it's just a tranny? pre-op or post-op?
  19. a member on classiczcars is looking for the ATS wheels. here is his profile: http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/member.php?u=10882 i would contact him and see if he has found anything
  20. yes. a member bought some, but the offset was a bit far in IIRC EDIT: 15x8: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=123375
