  1. I had Gabe at TTT build me a set of custom backing plates to do mine, in coordination with the T3 strut tubes. Love it. I've had a 28 x 10.50 Slick under the car will no problems. I do have flares though.
  2. Had a friend with a 3" running into backpressure issues last year. 3.5" would have been plenty in hindsight... but it fits for now!
  3. Dyno runs on same dyno? If not, #'s mean nothing. And a 5 point swing in AFR tells me something else was going on. Good gains. Sounds like you're doing something right.
  4. No? Never was. Didn't want to deal with the added cost, no TIG welder, and adding expansion joints, etc. It will all be wrapped anyway.
  5. as the title reads, I need ONE. PLEASE PM ME
  6. Started on the hot side last night. Also got the merge done Hopefully be finishing the hot side this weekend, and ordering the cold side.
  7. If you'd follow the LINK i put in there.... haha looks like they're on sale for $49
  8. Haha. Working on it, Keith! Dropped the crossmember last night to cut the old mounts off. Driver's mount i already had to mangle to get the new ones mounted in the car. Aaaannd Done
  9. Thanks. They free up a ton of room. I plated the rails with 1/4" plate to distribute the load rather than weld the tabs direct to the frame. Time will tell!
  10. These for an NA setup? If not, they look huge.
  11. Built the new motor mounts this weekend. This is a kit I bought from Randy Ellis Design. Link --------> http://randyellisdesign.com/?wpsc-product=110-diy-caged-bushing-tubular-race-motor-mount-kit-duplicate-2 Drivers side of the K member is hanging so they look a little uneven. You can see how this really opens up the passenger's side for a downpipe. Driver Passenger
  12. Whew! I'd like to give that rear end a try!
  13. There's several options. Quick search yields: http://www.ebay.com/itm/LS1-Alternator-Relocation-Bracket-Kit-/260877066484 You'll have to look around to find the heights and locations. Not sure if they'll fit under an S30 hood
  14. Made a slight bit of progress on the car. Built a wooden fixture to mount the turbo where I want it. Now all I have to determine is height. Cut a hole in the OSB, bolts from the bottom up, two nuts on top of OSB (to clear compressor housing), then the transition and turbo are set on and bolted down.
  15. You'll have a hard time filling the transmission in the car without taking off the shifter ... Or you can just fill it on the ground, and risk making a big mess and not knowing how much to add when you install it! Speaking from experience!
  16. IIRC mine leans back a bit. I'd just center the trans in the car, and put it as high as it will go.
  17. Ok, so for everyone else reading this thread, plan to spend 1500 on a known good t56, + parts + labor. IIRC a "viper spec" trans from most builders is about 2200 (parts & labor), that does NOT include the cost of the trans.
  18. So what's the total bill going to be, cost of your trans and all? I'm still on board for a magnum, if anyone wants to buy mine?! The good thing is you'll have the triple cone synchros in that gto trans, albeit a gearset that favors panzer tanks. The TR6060 and the magnum are internally the same. Say it with me : "magnum". haha
