    I have bolts in mine. Swore I would never put those God-forsaken spindle pins back in. If they seize up, and you have to have a special tool to take them out, WHY would you put them BACK in? Its a terrible design IMO, and I'll never use them on another car I have. Almost 10K miles, and they've been apart a half dozen times, and zero issues. Cost me all of $10 or something at the local hardware store.

    Not true. If the holes in the seat are below the tops of your shoulders, then yes. The mounting location of the harness won't play into this if your seat fits properly.

    Money well spent. Gabe is good to deal with, and it yields an off-the-shelf disc brake solution with E Brakes!

    Finished wrapping the hot side, put it back in the car, and worked on tying the frame rails together. This is what I came up with. It has to be this far back to allow room for the monster Taurus E-Fan. I was thinking about moving it further forward, in front of the radiator to allow more space in the actual engine bay. Not sure if it will be as effective, but its an option.

    Got a little done last night despite spending an hour and a half snowblowing Hot side painted And wrapped. Just cheapo black FG wrap from siliconeintakes.com. Double wrapped with 50% overlap on crossover. Used 50' of 1" on the one manifold, need to buy more.

    I'm not sure if I should be worried or not! the 3.5" downpipe should support quite a bit of power. plenty of guys making around 800 on a 3" DP.

    Yeah, I haven't really paid enough attention before to have a preference.

    Well the 4" was just not going to fit easily, so I picked up some 3.5", and got the DP out past the bellhousing. Welds are kinda crappy on some of it as I was at the end of the tank of gas. Still trying to decide if I want to dump the wastegate or just route it back in. Thoughts?

    At the point of an 8.50 cage though, I'd probably put one in, as long as it wouldn't interfere with the dash too bad. My fear is losing all vent capabilities.

    LOL well thats not true. I've seen second gear go boom because someone power shifted it when the synchro was bad.

    Good question. I would almost say yes. FYI, cars with a factory firewall don't need a knee bar to be legal. However, It might keep that pretty little V8 from kissing our knees @100MPH.... Food for thought.

    With the car running, try to stuff it into gear without using the clutch. If it chatters and makes a bunch of noise, the synchros are shot. If it just refuses to go in, the synchros are in decent shape. But what do I know.

    I'm jealous. I just finished the heat in my 27x33 garage, and I wish It was bigger! With taller ceilings to put in a lift! Previous owners were so inconsiderate.....
