  2. as mentioned, the DSS is THE place to go for cv stuff in my opinion. Hope you don't start breaking input stubs now....... Watching as well.
  3. Just index the clamps to where the worm gear is on the back side. Helps a lot. Might have to flip them though
  4. I just want to keep it easy to remove. As you (should) well know, you WILL be pulling it at some time, for some reason. I'd just weld in my front mount if it wasnt for that. However, I picked up some 1" square tubing today, and should be able to cobble something together to work. Probably as ratty as the rest of it, but it works!

  7. You could have shaved a month off the build by just buying bends hahahaha Unlike many, the pie cuts here are done well. Normally not a fan, but here I don't mind them
  8. I have a Eurethane air dam, thats it. Everything feels very stable at speed. No float or uncertainty. Car is pretty low though. Floor boards are 6" from the ground - for reference. 8.8 has been great so far. I need to modify my front mount though. It keeps coming loose because the nose of the diff is so far behind the mounting points that its acting like a lever every time i launch, and keeps coming loose.

  11. Lol not really on the trees.... this is Iowa! All corn fields. That road is kinda sketchy for 140 mph pulls. Speedo maxes out at 160. That was basically a 40-140 on the spray Thanks

  13. I don't know how much luck you'll have with them only being single adjustable. What setting was that video on? From the looks of things, it needs more compression and less rebound. What spring rates?
  14. t56 minus bellhousing and fluid is 149#. I'd say 162# wet, with BH
  15. When i took mine out the last time it took me 29 minutes to have the diff on the bench, after the car was on stands.

  17. Vinyl seats + 85 degrees + 90% RH = swamp ass AC would be amazing. I need to get the floor insulated, that would help a lot i think, as that's where most of my heat comes from.

  19. It has been good. Straight line traction is a little bit different than it used to be, but I haven't had any issues. I changed to a softer spring to get a nicer ride out of it, and I think thats where I lost some traction. Other than that, its had about a dozen launches on slicks with no issues other than the front mount coming loose. I'll have to get a picture of the angles.
  20. I have some exterior video, but this was just to priceless not to be its own. My ET Drags are screwed for some reason. They were starting to shake there, as i got out of i The 2,000 mark would be for a full chrome moly 8.50 cert cage. Probably closer to 12-1500, but 2k is just a number. If you look at the pictures, you'll see where we indexed them right before the track. They are spinning on the rim. I'll be using rim screws on the next set i think.
  21. I hear ya there keith! My buddy ran an 10.30 with his 03 cobra, and no one said a word. I'm guessing its because he has dark tint. I'm planning on putting in probably a 10 point with swing outs. I don't really have the 1-2K to drop on one at the moment though.
