  1. Yeah, I'm assuming it doesn't exist because I've yet to hear back from the owner of the car. It would be a really cool swap though. Tyson
  2. Well, then nice work, and welcome to the board, I think you'll get along fine with this crowd. What type of numbers do you expect HP, TQ, and 1/4 wise? Looks like you have everything pretty well thought out. Tyson
  3. Wow, that looks really really nice. Good work, never been a fan of red but it looks good with the flares and black color. Welcome and again nice car. Tyson
  4. Well I figured that you'd have to recess the firewall, but he didn't seem to mention it and didn't know if it were possible to do without recessing the firewall. Tyson
  5. Okay so I just got off the phone with the guy I talk to for engines around me, he claims there is a local 510 running an RB20 or 25 Turbo. He also mentions that it is for sale for 7k, with upgraded turbo, BOV, and Fuel Management. Now my question is, can an RB fit in a 510, I know we have member with an L Series 510, just didn't know if an RB is possible. Sounds interesting enough to me so I'm going to look at it later tonight and take some pictures. Anybody have any pictures or seen this done before? Opinions are wanted. Tyson
  6. You have to be member for a while, how long I don't really know. The admins have enstated this rule to keep people from becoming members and just flooding our classifieds, while not adding anything to the actual technical side of the site. Tyson
  7. I'd say go with Hyperutetic (?sp) and go with 9.8:1 or higher compression ratio. It does mean you will have to run a higher octane than the low but I don't believe premium. I've used Speed-Pro pistons on both my rebuilds with 10:1 compression ratio on both, one is in my truck with 20k on the motor and no problems. IMO I think it would give you a really well rounded mild street engine. Just my $.02. Tyson
  8. I think with most true Panasports most are anywhere from 3-8 months out depending on the type of order. The only real chance of getting them that quickly is finding either used set or a new set that someone is selling. Tyson
  9. If I were drifting I wouldn't mind doing it in this http://videos.streetfire.net/Player.aspx?fileid=14312369-870E-488C-99BD-C36C0AA6CBE2 Tyson
  10. Sounds good, really has a cackle to it, potty mouth jk jk. Good work. Tyson
  11. Yeah, I've been wanting to know its final release date too, it seems like that part of FactoryFive's webpage hasn't changed much for a long time. They claim it'll run close to 20k with standard equipment, not bad IMO. If they were actually available I'd definitely save some money and get some loans for that thing. I like the lines, not the red color though, the primer black one is my style Tyson
  12. Further down in the post I believe the guy said its going to require a supercharger as well to properly spool the turbo, but then again I didn't read to closely... Tyson
  13. The problem with that in my area is that they do a compression check to see if its "stock," so that might be a problem, it not do it then. Tyson
  14. Cool cars, I like them along with the Ultima GTR's for non-uber-expensive fast cars. Tyson
  15. You could run a setup much like engine masters magazine did to get 427CI out of a Small block, a similar design to what some stock/outlaw circle cars run in which you run a 4" crank, 5.85" rods and 20cc pistons in a tall deck 350 block. The bore I believe was 4.125 to get displacement out to that number. I'm out of town but I'll post all the specs when I get home. Lunatic makes the kit that I'm talking about http://www.holley.com/products.asp?product=EA68 except it has a 6" rod. The motor the Engine Masters built produced 570ft/lbs of torque and close to 545HP. Tyson
  16. Only person I know running a Centrifical is Darius, but I don't know if he cut the inside of his strut tower... Tyson
  17. Yeah, I did my math wrong last night I forgot to factor in the cost of actually building one. However it is only 1.6 million pounds to purchase everything to start producing them, no material, no machinery, no bodies, just pretty much the jigs, manuals, rights, etc. then after that everything will have to be bought for you to be able to start making them. Tyson
  18. Well, the US company not all of it. Didn't seem like a bad deal to me either, thats why I was wanting some ideas. Anyone interested for a co-op/ co-ownership . Selling 12 cars at $100,000 would cover the cost of the company. I've got the land and soon to be shop for it too, just not the money to purchase it . Tyson
  19. I wish I had either the 60k to build one or 1.2million to buy the company....any ideas on how I could do either? Loans, genereous people, sex??? http://www.ultimasports.co.uk/gtr/downloads.html Tyson
  20. Nice, is it the LT1 or the LT4? I thought the LT4's had the red paint on top in stock form? (I know its probably not the best way to differetiate them) Tyson
  21. Looks to be an early 300zx convertible, but my question is why on earth are you buying it Dan? Some crazy body mods??? Tyson
  22. Sounds good. But I couldn't help thinking when you were doing donuts at the end "Dumpster!! WALL!!! BUILDING!!! CAMERAMAN!!! BRAKES!!!!" . Sounds good, I like watching your videos. Tyson
  23. HOLY CRAP!! I've never seen one of those in my life, are they stateside? I really like that kinda looks crossed between a 510 and Skyline a little bit. Nice post, first time I've seen it. Tyson
  24. I say more power to him, I think its badass. BUT I DON'T WANT THIS TO TURN INTO A SKYLINE POWERED MUSTANG ARGUMENT. Tyson
  25. Well, I figure if someone can actually see what your car looks like when you go plowing past them going +215mph (not that'd you'd really do that on a street) and they say hey I don't like the looks. I could care less because I'd be a little blip in their eyesite by then . Tyson
