  1. Just do not make deadlines and cont working on it. Yes, as a beater! I know where you are working on this car, so I understand first hand. We can just patch the car up, prime it, turbo swap and you can use as a beater/learner. When you are ready and get the big job out of school....."rsut free" shell and just throw the turbo swap in that one! PS can I borrow your wheels, bumpers and such....joking!! I will keep my eyes open for you.
  2. Well it comes down to how much is your time worth, do you have the energy and space to part everything out. Not everyone is good at sales and that may be one reason why some say they will never do it again. As for me I bought my 2002 Z28 with 31k for $6200. 6 months later the car was paid for and with some parts left over. Honestly this was the ONLY way I would have been able to even start a LS1 swap. It was worth every moment because of how close my car is today to being "done". I did not have the $4500 at the time to dish out for a drivetrain. I will say I still cont to buy parts car for a source of cash flow because I do enjoy doing it. Honestly in doing so, I have got to know more members here on a personal level and has been to give help and recieve it at the same time. Sorry Greg didn't mean to high jack the thread.
  3. Something I would buy if it is "big" enough.....I do like the lines of the car and it sounds sexy!
  4. Guy when is a vid coming of your car? Can't wait to see one!
  5. Saw that this morning.....great vid

  7. RBZA....that one sounds better...lol
  8. Ok so Mike aka Buzz, Dave and myself came up with a name for the new Quad-State club that is going to be formed. RBZCNE. It stands for Rust Belt Z Club of NorthEast. The name is def open to discussion and other names are welcomed because nothing is finalized until everyone has some input. My plans are to start a club for our area even if I am not here for the next 12 months or so. I do plan do move back to the area and would like there to be an official club by next summer. All clubs start small and can only get bigger or die out from there. With the group that showed up, I know we can only get bigger from here on! Honestly we do have the potential to become one of the biggest Z clubs just due to the area we live in. Some time will be put in during the next few weeks gathering info and such about starting this new club. Also the next meet will be planned so keep you eyes open for that. I am thinking the first weekend in Sept because it is the last weekend before school starts for must people. Let me know what you guys think........Thanks again to all the came out! Clive
  9. Glad everyone made it home safe. I would like to thank everyone for coming out and spending the day with fellow Z owners. The drive was great and we will def have another planned with stop along the way. I will try to put something together for Sept. which gives plenty of us enough time to get the Z's on the road. A great turnout for the first time getting people together and they can only get better as time goes on..... Thanks again. Clive
  10. Hard to imagine that....never ever crossed my mind but glad it was posted for all to see and prayers go out to the drivers and families. BTW, I would like to see FJ 280z band for a little time until he or she gets their act together! Period. Like stated before you sound like an idiot making a lame excuse. That could easily be a member here from the site or a friend of a friend and I think you are a jerk for such a comment towards someone who was just paralyzed in a car crash....... I am done. Clive
  11. Any time you would like to be here....my Z won't be going so it is up to you.
  12. Not a bad idea....I do not have an account over there....I don't think I do =) If someone wants to drop a line over at zcar and classiczcars that would be fine and send anyone who wants the info the same email I sent out. Zya in 2 days!
  13. Glad to hear you are at the top of the hill and got all of your donor parts for the swap for free!!! Yes, it is a lot of work but worth it in the end when the parts pay for themselves and give you a little extra on the side. I still have z28 parts left over that I am holding for a rainy day to sell...or if someone would just buy it. lol!! As for boxes.... you can get free ones shipped to you from the post office. Best part about it, the boxes come in a box! Supermarkets, parts stores and body shops are the three main places to get big boxes from and they are always happy to give them away. Glad I could be of help. Clive
  14. Vinh it is about an hour from the shop, real easy ride up the thruway. It would be great to have 3 topless Z's there! 007max you will get the email today.
  15. I will get the email out to you....I just got to Rochester, Ny so I will get back to sending out the emails. Thanks
  16. Email resent....let me know if you didn't get it. Thanks
  17. I do not have a pic of mine but I just used a U shaped hose and connect the two lines coming off the motor. That is the easiest way to go. Glad to hear that it runs!!!!....pics??vids??
