  1. PM me your info; Name Number eMail addy I will add you to the contact list. Thanks
  2. Curry this means you can make it out to the next meet I am putting together in Sept. Check out the non tech section.....a new Z club is going to be formed for our area!! Congrats on the start up! Where are you located again?
  3. be sure to check ebay and craigslist......everyday!!!! hope you get it back
  4. I swore there was a company that can recover dashes out in Cali... I knew it was expensive but def prob worth it if you can get two done and sell the other to recover some cash.
  5. I also posted that here a few days ago thinking the same thing about the rear spoiler.
  6. Why do you say that? Just wondering.....
  7. Just take a sawzall to the body, I would cut from where the dogleg seam joins from under the door up to the top of the roof, kinda like how the NOS quaters panels look and save that panel above the tail light. Be sure to cut more than needed.
  8. LOL.....I just saw that there are pics to the side...duh....Where did ya get it?
  9. I just went to the dealership in my area about a week ago.....he located 3 pairs of fenders for me $250 a side. Call another dealership, if you not looking for perfect then junkyard I would say. Clive
  10. The dealer......they are still around for about $250 a side.
  11. Wigenout, if you don't mind....what do those rims cost for a set? I reallyl ike them and will be in the market for wheels in a few months.
  12. Wasn't saying you, anyone thinking of buying it. It is a great price.
  13. Well the stock LS1 motor will put down over 300 at the wheels. Most guys here are getting 30+mpg highway use. Also for the price nothing beats the JCI motor mounts...for the lazy like me buy the tranny mount if you have fab skills, make your own. 245 is a great size and you can get some very very sticky tires. Can't wait to see pics of the car. Clive
  14. Why so far?? lol Good deal...I bet you can take that and put right on Ebay and get way more than 650 for it.
  15. Just a thought, do you think JohnC would sell you a sheet since he is in that busn? I do like that idea posted above your post....I think the u clips will work fine.
  16. I still wouldn't buy the first yr runs of any car. Even if the car has be proven over seas it is still its first production run here in the states. I know plenty of mechanics from BMW, Benz, and such and I always hear from them, "Do not buy 1st yr". lol Esp BMW's tend to have electrical probs with the first yr runs...who knows why....but should still be a sweet car.
  17. Same thing I was thinking but I remember lots of people do last minute school shopping that weekend.....Dave you thinking of making the trip up?? G0tJules...Yeah you can ride with me again. Guys I was thinking, since this is a Quad-State club....this time the meet should be in NJ. Why do I say this? Well we all meet in NY last time and the second largest group of people who showed up was from NJ. Next month we can have something in CT and then PA. We will still try and keep the distance fair to everyone. Maybe Joe aka Rags would like to host at his place this time? If not any of you Jersey guys who know of a nice place to meet up and know of some nice roads let me know. If the group really really likes where we meet the first time, we can do that again and add some events to the day. Also when I say we are going to meet earlier I mean more like noon...no 9am meets...lol So, Joe what do ya think? Clive
  18. So I figured I would get the ball rolling on our second meet. Great news is that I will be around! Just got a job offer here in Rockland County, so no moving for me!! Now back to the topic on hand......which weekend works better for the group....first or second weekend in Sept? I would also like for everyone who is coming to have some sense of what the club name they would like to see...as of right now I do like ZORB...just easy to say and represents where we are from but of course like I stated before this will be a group vote so keep coming up with names. I was also thinking that this time we should meet earlier in the day so we all can spend more time getting to know one another and maybe another Z drive. I will not be late to the next one, I promise! By the end of next week, there will be events planned out for the day. I will try to get name tags this time....I loved how everyone said their name an then their HBZ username. So give ideas here or pm me....I am very excited to be round and glad we can get this going. Would also like to thank HBZ for a great site because without it we all would never get to meet one another. Thanks again all. Clive
  19. That is really nice...I wonder how much?
  20. The LS1 powerplant will/should but down over 325 at the wheels. Therefor you are starting with plenty of power. I am running 245/40/17 that just fit in the stock fender and should be "ok" to take care of some wheel spin. There are guys putting down crazy numbers with the lsx motor series and it comes down to how much time, money, and use of the car that will limit your hp numbers. Cost of an LS1 swap can cost lots of money depending on how you tackle the swap. There is a thread going on right now about parting cars out. If you have the time and drive...it is possible to pick up the motor/trans/pcm/fans/harness for FREE. That will take care of 3-5k and money that can be spent somewhere else in the car. Lots of info here on the site plus a new sticky that will save you time and money. More important...what kind of shape is your 240z in? Rusty? Any pics? The shell you start off with should be accounted for in the price of the swap. You may need to reinforce the chassis and more......hope this helps. Clive
  21. Body lines are what I am talking about....m3 lines are very sexy. I really like the widebody look to the m3's.
  22. Yeah but it is still a M3!
  23. Over the older style or new style m3? The new m3 is def a very very sexy car with that nasty 8 under the hood......price is just way out of my range...lol
