What about triangulating the existing hoop with another bar that goes to the edge of the rocker? Might be better than nothing? I don't know anything about roll bars though.
Do you have any more pics of your trans mount? I am wanting to redo mine as the mckinney one is prettly lame even though I added 2 more attachment points.
Twin tial mvs. I wanted to give it a shot with the lower spring so i could have the remote possibility of traction, but I think I'm gonna have to change to a 1 bar or so.
Just got off the dyno. So far traction at 10psi (more than twins (2860-5) would have gotten me on the rb26) traction is still there. Not gonna give my hp yet but i have a grin for 10psi... Something is wrong with the boost solenoid and we couldn't get it to boost above 10psi. I am on a 4psi wastegate spring and it was just creeping up to 10, the solenoid wasn't doing anything. Granted when I turn up the boost that's gonna be an issue...
Getting closer to dyno time.
Need to figure out what i want to do with my VSS. Damn thing keeps hitting my tunnel and i have knotched a good bit out. Need to look at it and see if i can machine a flat peice instead of the big ass part that sticks out the trans so much...

Exhaust note... You have to completely chop the throttle to shift without making the engine rev up, hopefully that can be fixed some in the tune.

Little bit done this weekend but didnt have much time. Methanol Ready to ride. IAC and FICD bungs welded on. Bride Rails for the FairladyZ... 4" round to oval pipe, Loud as hell, gonna have to figure something out, sounds good though.
Yup. All fixed. It was the Harmonic Balancer. The lower timing belt cover was barley hitting it. Sure did sound like valvetrain though hahaha, so relived.
