  2. What about triangulating the existing hoop with another bar that goes to the edge of the rocker? Might be better than nothing? I don't know anything about roll bars though.

  4. Yea thats what i was thinking, but doing that on the inside so i can get to it without removing the trans.
  5. Do you have any more pics of your trans mount? I am wanting to redo mine as the mckinney one is prettly lame even though I added 2 more attachment points.
  6. Well that was a job, about 12-13 hours to change two wastegate springs. EHHHHH, but wow this thing is a beast.
  7. Twin tial mvs. I wanted to give it a shot with the lower spring so i could have the remote possibility of traction, but I think I'm gonna have to change to a 1 bar or so.
  8. It worked fine on my old setup. They told me to wire it to sensor ground, I'm gonna try chassis ground since its 12v is supplied and not 5v.

  10. Just got off the dyno. So far traction at 10psi (more than twins (2860-5) would have gotten me on the rb26) traction is still there. Not gonna give my hp yet but i have a grin for 10psi... Something is wrong with the boost solenoid and we couldn't get it to boost above 10psi. I am on a 4psi wastegate spring and it was just creeping up to 10, the solenoid wasn't doing anything. Granted when I turn up the boost that's gonna be an issue...
  11. I think I'm trying to hold out for Z force to make the 1 piece hood. I think it will flow much better.
  12. If your gonna do that take the sender out and get a pice of aluminum and stick it on a lathe and make a little plug, that would be easy.
  13. Any wind tests on the competition style hood scoop? Zforce was going to make a 1 piece but I think he fell off that wagon.
  14. Getting closer to dyno time. Need to figure out what i want to do with my VSS. Damn thing keeps hitting my tunnel and i have knotched a good bit out. Need to look at it and see if i can machine a flat peice instead of the big ass part that sticks out the trans so much... Anyway, more porn...

  17. Id be interested in a 240 console, maybe not the dash insert as i have a vintage air kit and a radio. but defiantly the lower console. As long as its reasonable..
  18. Little bit done this weekend but didnt have much time. Methanol Ready to ride. IAC and FICD bungs welded on. Bride Rails for the FairladyZ... 4" round to oval pipe, Loud as hell, gonna have to figure something out, sounds good though.

  22. Yup. All fixed. It was the Harmonic Balancer. The lower timing belt cover was barley hitting it. Sure did sound like valvetrain though hahaha, so relived. RB30Startup.wmv
  23. I did the shimming but i spent about 14hrs on it getting it perfect... GRRR!!! Oil pressure is good. 60-100 depending on rpm.
