  1. Have you checked it with propane or a fogging machine? Stock cams?
  2. I think i am just going to weld up a 1/4" aluminum box and bolt it to the back via some blind nuts.
  3. Im trying to figure out a hydraulic bearing setup as i need to go to a race series triple disk clutch, but i dont want to have to work out everyday just to be able to push the clutch in. I saw one rb26 with this setup awhile ago but I cant find any info on it. Does anyone know of anything? Looks like this...
  4. Have you checked to see if the air regular is hooked up? Purple plug under the intake manifold, looks like an IAC motor.
  5. Man, I'm slacking on the updates... I ordered a few more feet of chromoly to tie in the rear struts and triangulate it. Blah blah. Next up is to pay off some of this debt
  6. It will be worth it, I cant stop grinning everytime i take mine out for a stroll.
  7. Being on only the quench pad yes i say that is detonation. Especially being on 1 and 6.
  8. Yea thats how mine is, i think its on the ACC power and not switched, not sure if it really matters, not sure how fast the motor works, but the ground is by the computer...
  9. You can hook it to 12v+ and i think the ecu controls the ground.
  10. Looks like. This guy bondoed his so it would pretty much look like that.
  11. Buy a tremec, there is a company making bellhousings now.

Yea but that requires crank removal for proper install. That's on r32. r33 and up where ok, you can google your serial number on your block to find out.

Very happy with tomei parts. Yes you can find cheaper, but the R&D they do its worth it in my book.

Dang, thats expensive for a swap in canada i would think. A basic rebuild doesnt cost much really, in the grand scale of things. Dont mean to sound like a jackass or anything but if your on a tight budget a rb26 may not be the right avenue... rb25 is good to about 500hp.
  15. Mine is taken up by intercooler, condenser, radiator and 2 oil coolers... haha

Oh, dont boost over 13psi on stock ceramic turbos... I can attest to the turbine wheel sheering off.
  17. Mr2's are a bit different as far as airflow over the engine though. But yes, what doesnt pay rent, must get out...
  18. I just put some on mine. I see heat pouring out of it at idle, so cant hurt... probably need to vent more than that though...

The n1 water pump is designed for track use, not street use. if its a weekend car probably not that big of deal but do a bit of research on it if you like.
  20. I have the endyne head, but without the roller waves and combustion chamber mods. Nice work. Get new pistons.

I put a brand new N1 oil pump on mine when i put it in, shattered it in less than a week. Buy a good oil pump, luckly i just happened to be watching my oil pressure and had my ems setup to kill the the engine with oil pressure loss. Other than that, just do a timing belt, water pump (stock, not n1), idler pulley, tensioner. I put a new lower timing belt gear on mine, but thats kinda up to you i guess. Make sure you have a good oil pan and pickup setup.
