What kind of kit car? If your considering a Locost then a common US donar car is the S10. In fact there is a site dedicated to this... www.stalkerv6.com I plan on starting a Locost build next year and have been doing alot of research. One of the best sites is http://www.locostusa.com/forums/index.php It will give you a million ideas! The Locost may not be as sexy as a GTM but if your careful you can buid one from scratch for less than 10K that will spank most others. Im thinking of building a hayabusa powered version but am not sure that my build talent is up to it.

Im trying to identify the Nissan part number for a gasket that would fit a NISSAN Garret T3 . Its for the 7 hole version as seen here. I though it was a Z31 turbo but when I receved the gasket it only has 5 holes. Any idea which car its from? The turbo cover has the waste gate installed in it rather than attached to the turbine housing. It driving me crazy!!!!

Neat, but Im afraid Im a party pooper.......SO WHAT! As many have mentioned the car was prepped. 45 seconds to change...but hours to get ready. Its not a record of any sort...its an accomplishment. YAWN...............

I dont like those at all...... they remind me of seats on a pontoon boat. I suggest the Soltice seats, they look very close to the original early Z seats and have decent support.

How much and which stub adaptors did you use?

I found 7 dried out squirrels in the top on my chimminey. It seems they would go there to stay warm and the fumes would kill them and then dry them up for future use. On a seperate but sort of related note...yesterday while cleaning my car my son found a banana under the back seat....it must have been there a loooong time. It was dried up into a black turd like item. We had fun with mom.....

I used one in my 3.1L build. Ran it for years without problem.

I cant believe they forgot to paint the pistons! And they weld like I do..... Just got to the custom clutch pictures.....great idea!

Jason We know each other, perhaps not really well but we do know each other. What you may not know about me is when I was a young teen I had over 2/3rd of my left kidney removed. Now Im 45 and in pretty decent health for an older guy. I lead a perfectly normal life. (haha...thats a matter of opinion) Its always scary to have someone "go in" but look at it from the other side...when they are done you can go on leading a perfectly healthy..(er) life. Go into this with a strong and positive attitude. Knowing what little I do know about you ......Im confident you will come out even stronger and better. All fixed up! Im afraid not...to me.....the Ferrari sound is higher pitched and more sexy. The SBC just doesnt cut it. But perhaps its the entire package...more valves....more cams...the right crank and the best stoke bore ratio. I guess Im asking this ....will a crank alone achive your goal?

I agree......its called "Common sense"! If you do work over and over without using common sense perhaps you just stumbled on the correct answer. And you may ever undertsand why! Some of the smartest people I have ever met couldnt apply common sense..... and believe me it held them back in life.

Love it...your a wise man...I consider myself a 2.33. I almost always understand whats before me but it takes me about 2-4 times to improve upon anything. A hard way to learn! Honestly ...a great view on things. I very much appreciate this perspective!

Thank you...Im no intake expert by any means but seeing how you weld and fabricate Im sure you could cut up he stock top half and fabricate a new front facing intake. Do you have a pic of the inderside of tha upper intake you can share?
