I assembeld my Christmas present from my super wife. It took me a while to start because my car is currently not under power and I didnt know how Id get it back into the garege if I put it together. Then I had an idea and some inspiration! So it took me about 2 hours of work with the extra fabrication of the winch assembly. Now I can work safely and easily on my cars. The best being I can even do basic work on the 350. So here are the shots of the assmebly of the Kwiklift with my sons.

Yup he drives all the cars.....anyone know if he is an ex-racer?

Search his name on youtube and there are alot of great and fun vids he produced. My favorite is the 407km/hour Veyron run. Considering all the cars he has driven it looks like he orgasms when he tops it out. An odd vid is the one which he tries to fill a Lincoln and a Jag full of water to show which is sealed better. Which do you think won?

Ive seen that before...its great. Reminds me of some of the projects on this forum.......

AT chrstmas time there is no "empty back of the lot" and everyone gets stupid!...real stupid...racing for any available spot! I think the best thing to do is park as far back as possible. Its funny how lazy people are driving around in circles looking for a spot close to the doors. Its not the perfect solution...those darn pick-ups still zone in on me....but its effective.

For what its worth....the war my be won by Sony but Im not buying. At this point Im pleased with my HDTV/HD cable.....and standard DVD. Quality it good enough. Perhaps my Middle age eyes just dont care!

I got the Harmony 880. It wont work on the Xbox as the xbox is RF and the Harmony is IR. There is a new Harmony 880 Pro with RF but I dont believe it will work on the xbox either. better look into that one! I went with the 880 because it seems the best value (off ebay) and I heard great things about it. It did not dissapoint! Finally a Universal remote that is universal and easy to set up.

Yesterday I visited the worlds largest disc manufacturer in the world...Cinram. They told me the future is Blu-Ray. There are only two studios supporting HD , Toshiba is starting to lower pricing on HD units...dumping?.....and in their "opinion" the Bluray format is far superior with potential for advancement. I have to assume they know their stuff. Anyway, FYI, hope this helps.

Agreed...no matter what type of energy you use there is a cost....$ and envoronmental. Its not like electricity can be made from the sun or something.... If we use standard sources....coal and such...I dont believe we are moving ahead. But as solar technology improves...and it is very quickly.... who says we cant have panels on the house charging that little puppy? And who knows, in time that big motor will probably be made more efficient. Its just neat to see people trying....its a start.

Just set up my Harmoney 880 universal remote. And guess what...it is universal and the best thing since sliced bread! It took one hour of fiddling on line to get it right but now when I want to watch a movie I press one button....my TV is set right, the DVD is turned on and my NAD reciever is set right...even the volume is turned to a predetermined setting. Now my mom can watch a movie when nobody is home. I recommend it to all!!! Yahoo

I know what you mean! My wife and I always park the 350 out back...but it seems every time we return to the car.......its surrounded by pickups! I dont get it! HAHA door defenders! Depending on were you live I can see those being trashed or stolen. Nice idea though with all the non caring idiots.

My wife has an Audi 4...a red one....... its no S4 but Audi sure does build a nice ride. The two liter 4 banger could use more torque but when you slip it into sport mode...yes its an auto.....that thing wants to go. I keep toying with the idea of installing a boost controller and uping the power a bit.... ....

GOOD MORNING! That IS nice and the dash looks great. I love the original vintage set up but that dash does looks right on, Is it from a SX? I know there is ZG flare thread but curious...do you "have" to cut the flares to install those or can you just place them over the stock fenders?

Maybe that could be used to power a supercharger?
