WOW...that sucks! But you are OK! Im sure many of us have tempted fate....you got stung. I say dont do anything with the car like sell or part it out until you get over this shocker. When your mind is clear then consider your options. If it was me....looks like quite the parts car so I would be looking for another "better" Z knowing I have lots of parts and know how. I have to agree with the pro side.....It may not be a 240Z but it sure looks right! Why not make a Retro Z! lets see....Mustang, Mini, BUG......the Z!....the ORIGINAL Z look alike. Even though I own and love a 350Z roadster....I always wished that NISSAN did more to make the 350 look like the S30.

I would agree....the fenders are SX and the headlight pods appear to be the only Z part. The hood is custom for sure. ...the dam is custom as well. I would love to know if this is a kit somebody is making? I really do love it!

Becareful... somebody I know just threw her shoulder out playing Wii tennis. Her doctor said they are seeing alot of cases of Wii elbow and such. There is no reistance when swinging that controller and people get hurt. She is in physio....... I will stay with the xbox 360....... much safer.....

Myron...that dash you made is first rate. I love it, especially the short overhang. Too bad you dont live in this area, a friend of mine is a GREAT tig welder. He could fuse it together in a heartbeat....aside from that the fasteners look hard core! I gotta laugh.....2 4x8 sheets? Were you planning on making a mistake....or three? haha you must make things like I do! On my 240SX track car I covered the inside door with aluminum sheet as well. Attached it with rivets so I can drill them out quickly as required. If possible you might consider making a CAD template for the others to follow. Im sure it would be used often by DIYers. On a final note you may want to lock tight the fasteners if you havent already. Thanx

And I bable..ya I really like them specially the gold one.....great idea I needed a place to store the car papers! At that point I pull out the gold towel and guess what falls out!~~~~~~~the order form! Everone starts to howl :lmao:and I feel like a ditz but a happy ditz...knowing that she didnt lose her mind and realizing that I just got the coolest Z tool ever! Then she says...now you have no excuses to change the oil in my 350...... What a great woman!

Nice truck but wow do you really need a gas guzzler like that as a daily driver. Im no tree hugger but I dont see the point of big truck to drive back and forth to the office...do you haul anything other than groceries?

Im in the high 20s and and will be well into the 30s when I complete the final body rebuild. At that point the car will be "perfect" by my requirments. And as Larry pointed out there are many other groups that spend WAY more. Look at the street rods and custom scene. A friend of mine has well over $100K in a 40 something Ford. Looks great, faster then all heck (in a straight line) but doesnt do well with long trips.

True enough Globerunner513...if number 1 was painted it may look better but the round air ducts seem wrong....anyone with paintshop that could work some MAGIC!?
