So...I noticed today that Black Dragon doesn't sell this, nor can I find it on ebay. Know what I'm talking about? The rubber that slides across the window when you roll it down. It's stapled to the chrome pieces at the top of each door. Where can I get these. Maybe I can salvage one with some baseball glove oil and the oven...but my other one is broken. What are you guys doing to replace these?

Hi everyone, I've been having some issues with my door that I'm trying to fix but frankly I need some help with what I can actually do to fix it. I made a video showing and telling the issues I have: My hope was some folks on here could watch it and give me some guidance as to what exactly is wrong and how to fix it. Thanks, - Pac Man

hi guys! Realized today that not only do I have some water leaking from my t-top seal (right at the top of the a pillar, where the car seal meets the t-top seal), but I have quite the air gad where the window meets the b-pillar.. I'm guessing the seal has sagged and lost elasticity after all these years and isn't pushing on the window anymore. My current budget for the whole car (and there a quite a few things due) is zero dollars. so I was thinking of being creative to fix the seal. I though of maybe injecting something that would "inflate" the seal, ideally some kind of rubber foam of some sort, but that would be messy and inconsistent at best. Then I realized that most weather seals are essentially rubber tubes, and that I could possibly insert a rubber tube within the weatherstrip, which would basically make it behave like new. I checked it out online and found two references wher people had successufully done this with other cars (this is one, the other is a youtube vid doing the same thing ish... https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/body/741222-t-top-car-help.html) I was curious if anyone had any old seals that were cut up so i can get a picture of the cross section. It could tell me if the idea would work on tour seals and what diameter tube I could potentially use, as a bonus.... also, any opinions or suggestions are welcomed

Greetings, I opened up my doors to try and address the window rattles and found the "Lower Door Window Bumper" (http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/30-2357) just laying loose at the bottom of both doors. I can't figure out where it is supposed to be attached. The factory service manual does not even mention this piece, much less show it. The one place that looked like it would be a logical fit was a metal pedestal of sorts near the rear of the door, that has a hole in the top that looks just about right for the clip, but when I tried it there and rolled the window down it wasn't even close to aligning with the "channel" that's in the bumper. Unless the channel isn't for nesting with the window? Is the bumper supposed to be aligned "side to side" instead of "front to back" (which was my assumption)? Any help is much appreciated, and pictures are worth a thousand words! Thanks in advance. 1973 240Z, build date 9/1973.

I have a 1976 280Z coupe, with a busted driver side window. The door has a lot of problems too: bad lock, broken door handle, and rusty. I live in the Fort Worth area, so If I can find someone local, would prefer that before looking into getting something that bulky shipped. I will also settle for just the door glass, if I can't locate a door. Thanks, Michael

I am looking for a driver side door for my 71 240z. Only need the door shell. No glass, handle, hinges, or extras required. Also needs to be rust free, surface rust is acceptable. No big dents please, door dings are ok. (I found a good door, so I no longer need one.)

Hi Guys, I really need the Drivers door the most, but depending on location and cost would like passenger door as well. As well would like to get it loaded except for interior panel, but would consider a shell as well. Willing to travel to pick up. Willing to pay for shipping if to far away. Thanks in advance for any help.... Keith

Hi all, Not too long ago, the exterior door handle on my '76 280z stopped opening the door. When I pull on it, it seems that one side pops out a bit from the door itself. The interior handle works fine, however. Also, I'm trying to figure out how to get the window regulator rollers back onto the rails. I've gone through threads, my chiltons and haynes manuals, and general google searches but can't find any specific info on how it should get re-mounted. Any tips? Thanks, Pac-Man
