Question for people that have bought donor cars do guys register the car under ur name or just scrap the car after you take off the good parts and don't register. sito Posted October 22, 2013 Share Posted October 22, 2013 Planned on going to the Japanese Car Show at the Larz Anderson Museum on Sunday. My serpentine belt was squealing so I went to go adjust it I then notice both of my alternator bracket bolts had sheared off...I fixed it but didn't finish until 2/3pm when the show was conviently over...*Sigh maybe I'll make it one of these years... For the 3 parts cars I've harvested from, I have never registered them, just bought and then scrapped. Make sure the PO signs it though because when you get a junkyard to pick up the shell, they usually need the title. Or at least it makes it easier for them.
