One nut had fallen off, put another one on and hoped it would seal up the leak. Did not work! Is the G35 also yours? It wasnt getting any fuel had to drop the tank clean it get some varnish crap out of the lines. Clean all the grounds cause injectors weren't firing. Anyway, it was sunny and fairly warm [60's] for upstate NY weather this time of year. Decided it was time to put the z into winter hibernation, put a few ounces of Sta-Bil in the tank but needed that to get to the fuel injectors so...I took her for a spirited rip around town, mostly 1-3 gears. An LSx powered z is so fun it should be illegal! After the rip washed, waxed, covered and tucked her away for the winter-see you again in the spring! Dad put a CAI , spacer on intake other than that stock. Daily I drive what ever is in the yard. Usually the Datsun but the 300zx has been used a lot. Went and looked at a 94 Q45A for $2500. May pick it up for a daily driver. Well today I removed my blown head gasket. Will be reassembling this weekend. Pitanious91 Posted December 1, 2013 Share Posted December 1, 2013 I changed ALL vacuum hoses, chased down my last ignition gremlin, swapped out my 1979 booster and master cyl to 1983, ran a proper ignition tuning, and locked everything down. Tony D Posted December 16, 2013 Share Posted December 16, 2013 I got turned away from the LTO Emissions Check Station today because the paperwork on my Every Turbo Van said 'diesel' and I have to get it changed before they will smog it. Bureaucracy, and the incompetents (meaning the people, not the act...) that run it. Engine number is correct & matching, and I have the Factory Service Manual on my iPhone (seriously!) to prove the Suzuki F6A engine was ALWAYS gas, and NEVER a 1500c Diesel.... Now, far be it from me to waste this opportunity, and I'd REALLY like to swap in a 1500 diesel into this little van.... but I just need the 600CC Turbo engine certified so I can drive it home!
