olie05
that box next to the clutch won't give any room for a dead pedal... where will you put your left foot when not in use?
cyrus
that box next to the clutch won't give any room for a dead pedal... where will you put your left foot when not in use? It will be relaxing, instead of holding the fuse box and wires from falling inwards on lefthanders.

Z32POWER.com
hey cyrus, i started a new forum specific for 2jz swapped cars, trying to get a member base built up. check out www.2jzpower.com and sign up if you would. thanks
BLKMGK
I'd suggest mentioning this on Supraforums - in particular the MKIII forums. A bunch of guys have swapped in 1JZ and 2JZ motors into those and even MKII Supra clublexus would be another good one I think...
Guest turbo_motors
I want to do the same swap when i get my 240z. Was it hard to do the swap and what about all the wires and sensors that arent needed for the z? what needs to be done with those. Can you email me as much info as possible because i am getting my Z very soon and would like to make the same swap. Thank you
cyrus
Use all the supra harness, just take about 80 hours of wiring and bam! you are done.

cyrus
I have several hundred pictures of this swap as I considered (ing) writing a little book on it, but do not know how many people are crazy enough (work wise) to do it. Update The Eagle has landed. uh wait. it runs, brakes work, and it can rest on it's wheels. I hope to drive it before the end of the year... Comrade_Charlie
awesome awesome car. I wanted to do some kind of swap into a 240z but im 6'4 tall so I cant fit in a 240z so I want to do a 1jz twin turbo to single turbo into a 1972 Opel GT. to me its really close to a 240z and is made for tall people so... I just hope that a 1jz will fit. if not it will be my gas milage car with stock inline 4 .... keep up the good work!
