Mikelly
OK Gang, So here's the dealio... I have a 510 body (thanks David ) and a widebody Gnose 240Z body (someone was selling these a while ago) that both need a chassis... What's the prefered "fun" chassis to buy in RC cars? I've got about 450 ft. of blacktop at my place and I could certainly have LOTs of fun with these little mammerjammers *(stollen from Thinks to do in Denver When you're dead!) OlderThanMe
do you have any local hobby shops? Also what scale are the bodies? 1/10 or 1/8? You could get a used gas powered chassis for like $150 or so that will do like 60mph...
HoustonZ
How about mine? With a brushless motor sytem in it will do the 0-60 in under 2 seconds:mrgreen: In all seriousness, take a look at the Traxxas Jato. It's a nitro model which will rip things up on and off road. bschiltz
Hey, I remember you Cold Fusion. I used to go to the boards at Traxxas all the time. I've still got my stampede and 4-tec in a tub downstairs. Someday I'll get them running again... maybe
X64v
If you're looking for something Pre-Built and just fun to screw around with, I'd reccomend something like the Associated NTC3 RTR or the Traxxas Nitro 4tec. Easy to learn with and pretty tough. NTC3 - http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXGZJ4&P=0 4tec - http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXNCA8**&P=0 Just remember...batteries are for flashlights. Tim240z
Mike, What scale? I have 2 x 1/10 scale electric race chassis. One is FWD, one is belt drive AWD.
Tombarace14
ABC Hobby dose, sometimes they come up on ebay. Its almost impossable to buy one else where.
Mikelly
Guys, I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to scale on these things... The bodies both are I think 1/10 scale... The S30 was the one that I think Owen had a run made of, and the 510 is from David's 510 club run! Mike
hoov100
i would say an HPI 1/10'th scale kit with an os cv-r .18 and a spectrum radio..
