zfever Posted February 18, 2007 Share Posted February 18, 2007 Well I have a stock 240z and I plan on modding the inside of my 240 to make it look like a 2007 interior... in any case.. i was hoping to see what some of you have done to the interiors of your car... One of my favorite pics is this wide angle that i found on cygnusx1's website (hope you dont mind)... Hope to see some response! Cheers! I didn't really see anything that blew me away but here is one of the nicer interiors I saw. I don't know if the owner of this car is a HybridZ member but it is very clean. zfever Posted February 19, 2007 Author Share Posted February 19, 2007 Hi all, what did you use to replace the material that covered the centre console on the original Z's.... the later models (i have a 71 240z) like the 280z came with carpetting.... the 1971 240z came with insulation material glued to a cast-like cover... I used an original very cracked 240 dash “frameâ€, folded some sheet metal over it, fabbed the center portion, painted the dash with wrinkle paint.
