Bugatti
I think i posted in this thread on 2010? But now its time to update. Engine totally rebuilt, even bigger turbo and my crazy idea of intake manifold. Dont know how it spools, if spools at all. Project since 2009 and still going Edited November 4, 2013 by Bugatti

mattb3562
That's gonna look wicked with a 3 or 4" cowl hood. Its gonna look like a SBC car with a wild turbo sound!
AZGhost623
man if you ever need to get the valve cover off or do work on the top end, its going to be a PIA. Thats pretty wild tho...

Gareth. J.
Added some VHT wrinkle coat to the valve cover, carb tops and blocked back the raised lettering to bare aluminium.
ozconnection
Taken yesterday, the big cam in this engine necessitated the addition of a vacuum tank. Can you spot it?

camerashy
It's a little premature, but given I test fitted it last night (who am I kidding, I just couldn't wait once I got it home from the builder) hopefully I can get a free pass . Running it with a powder white Greddy to Fujitsubo Legalis manifold/exhaust and one of Casey (Senza Paris}) intake manifolds. Just reading up now about what I am doing to route the water lines and deleting much of the 280Z necessities.

rigez
Leon thanks! Rob very clean setup there! Question - does you intake box become oily with the valve cover breathing into it? I have to some up with a system for mine, along with the block vent because I am getting oil in the engine bay! At higher revs I can see it misting out the two vents even with the small filters on them. Clive not sure if you got this question answered. I have the same issue with mine. I think 2 oil catch cans are the best solution. At least that is what I'm going to do eventually. I'm too lazy to be doing engine bay cleaning maintenance on a regular shcedule (besides...I don't have a show car).
