DeleriousZ
this program makes me want to vomit. Quite possibly the worst program related to automobiles in the history of the US.

hogie
I checked on pathfinders on that list and 505 95's met the same fate as mine... On top of that so did one 2007 pathfinder. How could they not unload that for better than $4500
thrustnut
"(31) AM General postal vehicles" Cool, I was wondering what to do with al the spare postal vehicles I have sitting around...man, I'm with you guys, I think i'm gonna puke. Guest Rolling Parts
If you really want to vomit, they say 60,000 were destroyed immediately as part of the deal and now "don't qualify". So who will cough up the money after a car is already scrapped? http://www.examiner.com/x-19632-Salt-Lake-City-Headlines-Examiner~y2009m9d21-60000-cash-for-clunkers-rejected-for-payout
Adam393
There is no way that some of these are correct. No one would be stupid enough to turn in an Aston DB7 or Bentley, it has to be someone messing with the system or a typo or something

mikeatrpi
THIS is a 1985 Maserati Quattroporte. They call it that because it has *four* doors. And that makes it the most interesting car, in the world!
260DET
(3,500+) BMWs including an M3, M5, Z3, 850i and (3) 740il Protection BMW's don't do so well in the US? Thats a lot of one make compared with the others.
bschiltz
The only way a Honda CRX could get less than 15 mpg is if there's a hole in the gas tank! They can get as good as or better millage as some of the hybrids for crying out loud!
MAG58
A C43 AMG????? A little part of me just died. My faith in humanity has fallen. I'll give you 5 grand for a C43, and you don't even have to spend that money buying a new car.
amorfin
The only way I can see some of those cars being traded in for $4,500 is if they were Salvaged and COMPLETELY trashed.
